It’s not exactly a big secret that I’ve only recently got into bath bombs. Mostly because I used to find going into stores too over-powering and I felt that by ordering online, you lost the choice of being able to smell the products first.
But now I’m all about that bath life, I’ve started amassing a quite large collection. Oops.
I’ve been meaning to tell you about this amazing product for ages but it’s never quite been the right time to bring up in conversation 😛 But as I started up pole fitness again yesterday after two weeks off (and yes, that is relevant), I thought that was the perfect opportunity to tell you about Bush Oil*!
I’ve been pretty quiet on social media this past week, mostly because I’ve been enjoying some well-deserved down time!
I always find the period in between Christmas and New Year weird because I always lose track of days and dates!! So what exactly did I get up to?
Rather than doing a December favourites, I thought I’d do a general round-up of my year and share some of the lovely things that happened to me in 2016 (most of them blog-related!) 🙂
I recently wrote a post about my current skincare regime; which are products I use every day and love. But there are some other products that I’ve also been using regularly that I love just as much and serve as equally important a purpose.
I’m talking about products for banishing blackheads. Big, stupid, ruin your face blackheads.
I was really looking forward to the Salon Success Jingle & Mingle event which was held a couple of weeks ago at Hotel Du Vin, Brighton. Loads of my blogger friends were going, I had the perfect outfit and makeup all sorted and there was going to be some amazing food!!
A couple of months ago, I was offered the chance to try out some of the Bravura Skincare range and I couldn’t believe it when all this came through the door!
Even before using the products, I was really impressed with how they looked. I love the beautifully coloured glass bottles and the gold writing on the front with rose gold lids ♥
Back in the summer, I wrote a post about the essential items I keep in my bag every day. But now that the cold weather has crept in, I’ve switched to my winter handbag and changed some of the bits and bobs I keep in there.

We’re one day away from December. This is not a drill. Party season is pretty much here; those awkward office parties where someone snogs Tim from accounts, the New Year’s Eve parties that are exactly the same every year but you go anyway in the hopes that this year will be different and you won’t end up in the kebab shop where all the staff know your name and you only seem to be wearing one shoe.

I’m pretty glad to be seeing the back of November if I’m being honest because it’s been a bit of a roller-coaster month. But onward and upwards and all that jazz.
I’m really looking forward to December, especially Christmas, because I get to spend some downtime with J and my family. But before December happens, here’s a quick look at the things that I’ve been loving through November.
