I missed last month’s catch-up because I
had loads of important things to do couldn’t be arsed. Sorry! To be fair though, it’s been a bit manic in our house for a while and things are only just winding down. Hence why I’ve only just had the chance to sit down and catch you all up!
I absolutely love getting a bargain and saving a bit money in the process. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t?
There are certain sites I use regularly to help me save money on everyday purchases and some that even give me cash back when I buy things.
I’ve been pretty quiet on social media over the past month as house renovations have taken over our lives. The house is currently in chaos which makes my brain feel like chaos. Does anyone else ever feel like that? In amongst the chaos, there were some good moments. I thought I’d sit down to write a quick catch-up post 🙂
And just like that, April ended and May began! April was lovely as J and I had some annual leave which we spent really productively doing projects round the house. I also treated myself to a couple of new things!
It’s fair to say that life hasn’t really been the same since the end of March 2020. There have been highs, lows and everything in-between!
One thing I’ve really loved is sending (and receiving) little gifts to family and friends to let them know I’m thinking of them and trying to put smiles on their faces through the various lockdowns!
You might, or might not, have noticed that I didn’t post a catch-up for February. To be honest, I barely did anything and just wanted to have a bit of a break. This month has been a lot more positive, so I wanted to write a post about it!
I love the end of March because the clocks go forward so we now officially have more daylight 😀 J and I also now have two weeks of annual leave, so we’re going to be working on the house and having plenty of downtime too 🙂
Spring officially starts on Saturday 20th March and I can’t bloody wait. I always find that spring feels hopeful to me, like a fresh start. There are so many fantastic things about spring.
When writing this post, I went through some old posts to see which pins I’d already talked about and found there were loads I hadn’t mentioned. So, this post is going to be a mix of old and new pins!
Happy February everyone, congratulations for surviving all 257 days of January!! January always feels so long, doesn’t it? But now it’s over, we have spring to look forward to and lighter evenings!!
I bought quite a few new books last year but didn’t get round to reading any of them because I just didn’t feel motivated to. This year however, I’m determined to get back into reading and I’ve even signed up to Goodreads to keep myself on track. I’ve given myself a small target of 10 books 🙂
