I’ve been wearing this look a lot this week, so I thought I’d share it with you all 🙂
Sorting Out My Hair
I find this to usually be quite an ordeal. I’m not good at describing what I want and the poor hairdresser is usually unable to guess correctly what I’m trying to ask for. This has led to wanting the iconic “Rachel” haircut in 1998 and getting what I can only describe as long, poofy curtains with the underneath being longer than the top. There is evidence. No, I’m not sharing it. 😀
My Superdrug Purchases
These are the reviews of the rest of the products I bought last Saturday.Â
Sleek Products Review
I recently bought a new Sleek palette and eyebrow kit so I thought I’d let you know what I thought!
Today’s Attempt | The Gold Eyeshadow Look
So today I have to wait in for the nice Anglian man to fix the window lock, so while I’m waiting, (any time between 8am and 5pm!) I’m going to attempt to follow a tutorial for a gold eye look!
Babyliss Curl Secret Review
Back in November 2013, I was about to go on my first official date with J, so I popped to my local hairdresser to get my hair done! Talk about trying to make a good impression! She said she’d just bought a Curl Secret which was relatively new. I was really intrigued so I said I’d be her guinea pig and let her try it out on my hair!!
Today’s Attempt | A Smoky Eye Look
So as promised, I’ve just finished my first attempt at recreating a make-up tutorial I found on Pinterest. I wanted to do this because there are so many tutorials out there and a lot of the vidoes/blog/photos assume that we know all the terms and have all the right brushes and kit etc. I find that I use a lot of baby wipes/make-up remover when I’m trying a new look as it always goes a bit awry, but no one really shows that part or the hours of practice it takes. So if you’re not very confident at putting on make-up or it never really looks like it should, don’t worry, you are not alone 🙂Â
