I’m always on the look-out for a great place to have a massage in Brighton. My requirements are pretty simple; I’m pretty lazy so ideally it needs to be close to work or home and it must have a range of massages available (deep tissue, aromatherapy or hot stone for example) with different length options available 🙂 Oh, and obviously, the massage itself must be really good!!
Artbox Cafe x Pusheen | Brighton
A couple of weekends ago, my friend Rachael and I decided to check out the Brighton Artbox cafe, the UK’s first dedicated character themed cafe. The current theme is Pusheen which I think is staying until the end of October, before a new character comes along!
Mercure Hotel Review | Brighton*
A while ago, the lovely people at Mercure got in touch and asked if I fancied staying in their Brighton hotel with a plus one. Whilst I would have loved J to come with me, he wasn’t feeling up to it, so I knew that one of my best friends, Charlie, would be the perfect choice to come and check it out with me 😀
As she lives in London, we decided to make a day of it, shopping in Brighton first, before enjoying a complementary three course meal in the hotel’s restaurant, then relaxing in our room while doing some serious lazing around and TV watching!
Natures Healthbox | Brighton*
Natures Healthbox are a Brighton-based company who sell natural health, beauty and home goods. They have a wide range of gluten free products, chemical-free cleaning products and absolutely tons of natural make-up and skincare products!! They also sell CBD products, natural products for babies plus raw and superfoods!!
They got touch with me a while ago and asked if I wanted to try out some of their tea tree products and very kindly sent me a little gift set!
Handmade Mysteries Escape Room Review*
When I was younger, I absolutely loved The Crystal Maze; especially the tasks where people had to solve cryptic clues to find the crystals 🙂 When escape rooms became popular, I vowed that I’d go and try some out, but I never got round to it 🙁
So when the lovely people at Handmade Mysteries got in touch and asked if I wanted to try out one of theirs, I jumped at the chance to give it a go!!
Meals In Minutes With Mob Kitchen*
Last weekend, I headed to the Brighton Cookery School (on London Road) to hang out with Ben from Mob Kitchen and loads of other foodies to “cook” two incredibly simple vegan recipes!
Refreshing My Buffy Tattoos
If you’re a regular to my blog or Instagram, you’ll know I’ve recently had my holly tattoo reworked.
Whilst I was really happy with the result, the two tribal tattoos either side just looked odd because they were so old and the lines had blown really badly. Lou had suggested covering them up, but they have a special place in my heart.
My Holly Tattoo Re-Worked
While I was at Death’s Door getting my potion bottle tattoo last year, I was showing Lou the rest of my tattoos and told her how much I disliked the tribal holly tattoo on my lower back.
My Deer Tattoo
I have no idea why, but for the last 10 years (at least) I’ve really, really wanted a tattoo of a deer’s head on my thigh. I just think deer (and stags) are magnificent animals and really majestic ♥
The Queensbury Coffee House | Hove*
Recently Sammy, Mr Biscuit (her gorgeous miniature Daschund puppy) and I headed to Barker and Stonehouse in Hove on a rainy Saturday afternoon for a mooch around, a long over-due catch-up and to check out their new coffee house (situated upstairs at the back).
