The end of April/beginning of May didn’t exactly go particularly well for me. I was really struggling with anxiety so I ended up having to phone my GP and got put on Sertraline. The side effects made me feel pretty sick for the first week but luckily I started taking them over the bank holiday weekend (and I’d taken the Monday off which I was super grateful for) so I mostly sat on the sofa watching Murder, She Wrote! Thankfully I’m now starting to feel less sick and less anxious all the time.
Femme Luxe Loungewear*
I’ve never really been one for loungewear if I’m being honest. I’m that weird person who can wear jeans inside the house all day 😬 But then lockdown happened and my jeans suddenly became obsolete. I didn’t want to be sitting working all day in jeans and the only thing I had close to comfortable clothes were pyjama bottoms.
A Chatty Catch-Up | April 2020
Well, April was an absolute shit show, wasn’t it? I was ill at the end of March and then lockdown happened. Life completely changed overnight and, I’m not going to lie, some days have been an absolute struggle in terms of my anxiety. I’m trying to look at the positives though; my friends and family are all okay and I’m grateful that I can work from home.
I really hope that you’re all okay too and I’m sending you lots of love ❤️❤️
What I’m Loving On Amazon Prime
There seems to be loads of blog posts about what everyone’s watching on Netflix right now. I don’t have Netflix though, I have Amazon Prime and no one seems to be talking about what you can watch on there!!
Personal Training | One Year On
It’s been quite a while since I posted an update about my personal training journey. I wrote updates after 3 months and 6 months but forgot to do a 9 month update (oops), so this is my update one year on (although it’s it’s been just over a year since I started PT).
At the end of December last year, my year of free personal training came to an end and unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances, I haven’t been able to carry on going (I had to cancel my gym membership too ☹️)
A Chatty Catch-Up | 2020 So Far
Well, what a bloody year these past 3 months have been, right?? This year has felt so unbelievably long already and we’re only at the end of March!! If you’re a blog regular, you might have noticed that I haven’t done a catch-up post since December, so I thought I’d catch you all up on the past three months!
Our Photowall Canvas Print*
The thing about living in a house that we’re still renovating is that we’ve not really bothered with hanging anything up on the walls (apart from mirrors) because putting up prints seems like such a finishing touch kind of project.
A Chatty Catch-Up | December 2019
As usual, I’m massively late with my round up! I do have a fab excuse though, J and I discovered that our entire house has started going mouldy, so we’ve been cleaning ALL the things, washing the walls and ceilings, plus installing a ventilation system into the roof space! It’s been taking absolutely ages and we’re not really even halfway through yet 🙁
A Chatty Catch-Up | October/November 2019
Whoops a daisies!! I kind of forgot to do a catch up for October so I thought I’d combine it with my November catch-up!!
A Chatty Catch-Up | September 2019
Well shit, this is a bit late, isn’t it? I seemed to have not only lost my blogging motivation, but all motivation in general recently. It’s probably due to the fact that I’ve recently changed my hours at work so I’m now cramming a full-time job into 4 days and it’s been a bit of an adjustment to say the least!! I really love having Fridays off, but being at work for 10 hours a day? Not so much!
