I mentioned The Girl Gang briefly in last week’s 10 things that make me happy post post, but I figured some of you may not have heard of it!
The Girl Gang was created by Jemma (who’s also known as Dorkface, because that’s her blog name, not because she has a dorky face) and it’s a massive online community on both Twitter and Facebook for bloggers, non-bloggers, men, women and everyone in between to come together and spread love and positivity! (It’s properly less lovey dovey, rainbows and flowers than it sounds, I promise!)
It’s a really great platform to meet like-minded people and to ask advice because there are well over 1,000 members! And sometimes when you’re having a crappy day, you get so many messages to make you feel better!
There’s a monthly newsletter which you can sign up for on Jemma’s blog and even if you decide you don’t want to sign up, you can still join in the weekly Twitter chat (Mondays at 6pm UK time) and get involved in by using #TheGirlGang
I’ve been a member since the start and to be honest, I love it. Everyone’s so friendly, there’s no bitchiness and you get to meet so many new people and read new blogs. The other upside of course, is my blog stats have literally doubled!!
