If I’m being completely honest, I haven’t really felt festive at all this year. So far, I’ve watched 0 Christmas films, made 0 eggnogs, decorated 0 Christmas trees and sung at the top of my voice in the car to 0 Christmas songs. I’m not exactly Scrooge but it’s been really hard to get into the swing of it this year.
Recently Sammy, Mr Biscuit (her gorgeous miniature Daschund puppy) and I headed to Barker and Stonehouse in Hove on a rainy Saturday afternoon for a mooch around, a long over-due catch-up and to check out their new coffee house (situated upstairs at the back).
We all know it’s the season for colds, flu and generally feeling run down so I’ve tried to find the perfect products to help me stay healthy this winter.
It’s also party season, time for families and getting closer to people than you generally would so I’ve also been testing out products to keep my mouth in tip-top condition for those awkward kisses with relatives and people you haven’t seen for years!
La Cave a Fromage is somewhere I’ve been past on the bus many times and have always wanted to go in and try. Recently, I finally got my wish and I headed there with my lovely friend Tania for their fondue night and a long over-due catch-up!
I hate getting up early on a Saturday. Saturdays should be for lie-ins. Except one particular Saturday when I met up with my lovely friend Rachael at 9am at Pool Valley (in Brighton) to travel up to London to see the Leicester Square Christmas Market!
A few weeks ago, a super intriguing email landed in my inbox that completely piqued my attention!
I was asked if I wanted to attend the launch of The Canna Kitchen, the UK’s First Cannabis Infused Restaurant, and, obviously, I absolutely had to go and try it out for myself!
It’s hard to believe we’re already at the end of November! I’m not a massive fan of this time of year; I just find it so dark and miserable. I feel like I’m just waiting for April to come when it’ll start to get warmer! Anyone else?
I wrote a post about my first HD brow appointment back in July. I was incredibly happy with the shape that Emily created for me and I’ve attempted to fill my brows in using her line ever since!!
I’ve always had a fascination with jewellery. When I was younger, I was given a jewellery roll full of necklaces and bracelets that I inherited from my grandma. Although they were beautiful, I was too scared to wear them in case I lost them. Plus everything in it is gold and I prefer silver. Sorry Grandma.
31st October 2018 was not only Hallowe’en, it also marked the 7th year anniversary of my move to Brighton so, what better way to celebrate than to look back at my 7 years here? 😀
