I’ve never really been one for loungewear if I’m being honest. I’m that weird person who can wear jeans inside the house all day 😬 But then lockdown happened and my jeans suddenly became obsolete. I didn’t want to be sitting working all day in jeans and the only thing I had close to comfortable clothes were pyjama bottoms.
For the first couple of weeks, I was wearing “day” pyjama bottoms and a t-shirt and then I’d get changed into my “bedtime” pyjama bottoms later in the evening, but somehow, wearing pyjama bottoms during the day made me feel super unproductive. Plus they’re quite thin so I was getting really cold!
I’d tried ordering some sweatpants online but I was sent the wrong size and the wrong colour so I gave up. Then Femme Luxe came to the rescue!! They very kindly offered to send me over some loungewear and holy crap do I feel comfortable and stylish at the same time!!
One of my favourite colours to wear (apart from black) is light grey! I don’t know why but I find it such a calming colour 🙂 That’s why I knew I had to get this grey jumper and grey Lizzie cuffed joggers!! Both the joggers and the jumper are so soft and comfortable! Although these aren’t technically a set, I think they go pretty well together 🙂
I got the joggers in a size 10 and they’re not too tight which is great!! There is a string tie on the inside if I need to make them a little bit tighter though 🙂 They’re perfect for lazy days when you just want to chill in your bedroom and read a good book!! The Lizzie joggers also have quite deep pockets which is super handy for storing my phone and snacks!!

Kris is loungewear set that comes with a zip up hoody and matching joggers. Kris comes in khaki, black or wine 🙂 I got mine in black (obviously) and I love the white chevron print detailing up the sides. I got this in a size 8/10 and it fits really well. The zip up hoody is a little over-sized which I really love 🙂 Both the hoody and the joggers have pockets!
The material on this set is a little thinner than the Lizzie joggers, so it’s perfect for wearing outside in the sunshine when there’s a bit of a chill in the air!

I’ll have to admit that pink isn’t a colour I’d normally go for, but I figured as they’re just for lounging round the house, I’d try something new!! These are the Lizzie joggers in light pink 🙂
I went for a size 12 as they didn’t have 10 in stock and actually, they’re not too bad!! They are a little baggier than the 10s but it makes it easier to lounge about on the sofa watching TV! I teamed these joggers with one of Femme Luxe’s oversized plain white tees. I think these joggers might be my new favourite thing ever, they’re so pretty and comfy, I just want to wear them forever!!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Femme Luxe for sending me the comfiest and cutest loungewear ever!! I wonder if I can petition to get loungewear accepted as “suitable work clothing” when lockdown ends and I have to go back to work? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I can never wear jeans in the house all day. I get so hot! I’m with you though on not having lounge wear. I’ve always wanted some nice lounge wear because all I have are jeans, dresses/skirts, and pajamas. I’ve been meaning to order some lounge clothes. I’ll check them out. Fingers crossed they have plus size!
I know that feeling, nothing worse than being inside and feeling hot and sticky!! I think they only go up to a UK size 16 but I’m not entirely sure xx
Hey Holly, loved this post, loungewear has become a saviour recently for everyone and it’s going to be very hard to go back to wearing normal clothes whenever lockdown eases and we have to go back to work!

I aspire to be as chilled as you look in that first image! I really like those pink joggers, I think they’re my fave of everything here BUT I do tend to go for pink quite a lot! I’m a huge lounge person – in fact I’m wearing pj shorts today! Ultimate lounge! xxx

I don’t have much in the way of loungewear either so I’ve been living in jeans, or changing into on bottoms when I get home. At work I’m wearing smart casual clothes and wish we could wear something more comfortable! I love grey coloured clothes too.
Ah that’s a shame! Yeah, you’d think at the moment you’d be able to wear more casual clothes at work!! I’m glad I’m not the only one who loves grey 🙂 xx
