I’ve never subscribed to a monthly box before, mostly because I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews, especially around beauty boxes, where a lot of people seem increasingly unhappy with the products they’re getting. I don’t want to pay that amount of money every month for products I might not like and I can’t even give them to J, because he’s not going to wear them. As far as I know. He does rock eyeliner like a pro though 😉
But then word came of a new kind of subscription box. And I was sent one to try out 😀
The Scoff Club (gotta love that name) is a monthly subscription box for sweets. I repeat. SWEETS. For £12.99 per month you get roughly 1.3kg of “classic and retro sweets” through your door.
Oh that’s cool, so you get like a massive pack of sweets? Nope. You get a whole loads of different ones; some you might know, some you might not.
As you can see, you get loads of samples of each one and they’re all really clearly labelled 🙂 I hate peanut butter so J was more than happy to scoff all the Reese’s pieces and he’s not a big fan of the Tutti Fruiti Fizzy Cubes so I get those all to myself 😀
- First Impressions: The packaging is a really nice touch, I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be all wrapped up like that. There’s a really good range of sweets and we were very excited to try them all out 🙂
- Value for money: At £12.99 I feel like it’s not too expensive, I’d imagine if I was let loose in a sweet shop I could easily spend that much choosing my own sweets. Oops. J also thought that seemed like the right price for the amount of goodies 🙂 I was surprised as he’s usually the first to moan about the price of things!
- Anything you need to know?: I couldn’t see anything on the website about whether they offer vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free etc, so my guess is, probably not. It’s always worth asking first because you wouldn’t want a box of goodies you can’t actually enjoy! Also, you’re not tied into a subscription so you can just buy one box if you wanted to!
- Will I use it again?: I think a Scoff Club box would make a great present for friends, so I’d definitely be tempted to buy a one-off box every now and again 🙂
- Verdict: 5/5.
What do you think? Would you want a sweet box coming through your door every month? Let me know in the comments below what your favourite sweets are 🙂 x

I’m trying to limit then now so they last longer 😁
My mouth is watering just looking at the picture! The price seems perfect considering it would cost so much more to get all that in a sweet shop. I really want some Bon Bons now!

This is the first time I’ve seen a monthly subscription box based around the idea of sweet, it looks awesome!!! I’m terrible when I have junk food in the house though – i literally eat anything i buy that’s bad within a day or two haha.
I know, such a great idea! Much better than “healthy” food
