Pixi Beauty Pamper Products Review*

I love a good old pamper. There’s nothing quite like putting your feet up with a lovely cuppa, something trashy on TV and putting a product on your face that’s designed to work wonders, right?

Ages ago, I was sent the most amazing PR parcel from Pixi Beauty. Not only did it contain 5 different face products, plus a super soft flannel to wipe my face clean afterwards, they also came in this amazing packaging with a spinnable arrow to help me pick a product at random ๐Ÿ˜€

So which pamper products did I receive and what did I think of them?

First up, the T-Zone peel off mask is exactly as it sounds; it’s a mask designed specifically for the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin). That being said, the first time I tried it out, I stupidly only put it on my forehead and nose because I forgot the chin was part of the T-zone lol!!

This is a detoxifying mask to draw out the impurities and lift away facial oils. The mask includes avocado (to hydrate and smooth), cucumber, seaweed (to renew and condition skin), aloe, green tea (to firm skin and is also an anti-oxidant) and bamboo extract (to help firm and refine). It’s perfect for congested, dull and tired skin. You can use this mask 1-2 times a week as required.

I found this mask really refreshing and so much fun to peel off after it dried ๐Ÿ˜€ I found my pores have been cleaner since using the mask and my skin feels incredibly hydrated and soft!

The mask is ยฃ18 but it does feel like a luxury product so I’d be happy to buy this again ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up, is The Peel and Polish which is actually an exfoliant (I always thought it was a peel off mask)!!

The enzyme peel contains natural fruit enzymes to loosen the dead skin cells which leaves smoother, softer skin. It also contains lactic acid to gently exfoliate while the sugar extracts polishes skin and lifts away dullness to reveal brighter skin.

This product is best used 2-3 times a week, applied to a dry face and neck and left for a couple of minutes before rinsing off. For a more intense effect, you can massage into your face first before leaving it to work.

I did find this product a little bit rough for my skin. Although it did make my skin feel really soft and look brighter, I can only really use it really sparingly!! So, at ยฃ26 a tube, I don’t think I’ll bother to re-purchase this when it runs out.

The Glow mud mask (also ยฃ18) is an all-over face mask to stimulate, clarify and brighten skin. This mask absorbs oil, draws out impurities and fights breakouts. It contains Kaolin clay to deep cleanse and purify, sea salt to detoxify the skin and ginseng to brighten.

I love that the website tells you how much product is in the tube (an approximately 4-6 week supply, if you use a coin-sized amount 2-3 times a week).

This mask feels very cooling on the skin, so I love using it after I’ve been cooking over a hot stove or when I’m feeling a little flustered (or you know, at any other time)! It’s also really easy to wash off, which I find pretty unusual for a mud mask! My skin has definitely been feeling better and looking brighter since using this mask ๐Ÿ™‚ I definitely want to buy more of this when I run out ๐Ÿ’š

The Glycolic boost masks come in a pack of 3 for ยฃ10 (which is around ยฃ3.33 per mask – not bad tbh)

The masks are covered in a glycolic acid serum to brighten skin and the herbal extracts (red ginseng, aloe, cucumber, witch hazel and more) help to improve and maintain skin health!

The masks are meant to be put on a dry clean face for 10-15 minutes. Once the mask is removed, you can pat in the leftover serum. For a refreshing an depuffing effect, you can also pop these masks in the fridge before use!! The masks are micro-fibre andย biodegradable.

Whilst I did like the mask because the glycolic acid didn’t burn or make my skin tingle, and after rubbing in the serum my face felt wonderful afterwards, I just thought the holes for the eyes, nose and mouth were a pretty rubbish size and didn’t really fit my face properly ๐Ÿ™ The eye holes felt pretty uncomfortable (even after I adjusted them because I had to take a photo where you could see my brows lol) and the mask between my nose and top lip was too big.

Finally, the DetoxifEYE hydrogel eye patches which are infused with hyaluronic acid and caffeine to help smooth and depuff the skin and also helps to reduce dark circles.

You get 30 patches in a pot and they’re designed to be single use. The pot also also comes with a little spoon to help you scoop them out as they’re really slippery and thin ๐Ÿ™‚

I bloody love these eye patches. They’re incredibly cooling and really helped my eyes look less puffy and tired (I’ve not been sleeping too well recently). You only need to leave them on for 10 minutes for them to take effect and once they’re off, you can gently pat the excess serum around the eye area.

At ยฃ22, the eye patches work out at about 73p per pair which is incredibly reasonable (well I think so anyway) ๐Ÿ™‚ I will definitely be re-purchasing these when I run out!!

Some of the products I loved and some I didn’t but I want to say a massive thank you to Pixi Beauty for sending me the products to try out and review ๐Ÿ™‚ My face is looking and feeling absolutely refreshed and bright ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š
