I find, having rosacea, skincare can sometimes be a bit hit and miss for me. I have my trusty favourites but I hate trying anything new in case it causes a flare-up.
Pixi Beauty Pamper Products Review*
I love a good old pamper. There’s nothing quite like putting your feet up with a lovely cuppa, something trashy on TV and putting a product on your face that’s designed to work wonders, right?
Lozano Skincare Masque Review*
I’m a sucker for a good old pamper product, in fact, I have a massive drawer full of all different kinds of face masks, so I was super excited when Lozano Skincare got in touch, asking if I wanted to try out their new masque product!
Kathleen Illuminating Serum Review*
Since I’ve started on a different contraceptive (the injection) and new medication for my vertigo, my skin has absolutely gone to pot. It’s been left looking incredibly dull with gorgeous blotchy red bits and some lovely little patches of acne. Thanks skin, you da best! So I went searching for some products to help my skin look and feel better!
Yearly Roundup | 2016
Rather than doing a December favourites, I thought I’d do a general round-up of my year and share some of the lovely things that happened to me in 2016 (most of them blog-related!) 🙂
Banish Your Blackheads
I recently wrote a post about my current skincare regime; which are products I use every day and love. But there are some other products that I’ve also been using regularly that I love just as much and serve as equally important a purpose.
I’m talking about products for banishing blackheads. Big, stupid, ruin your face blackheads.
Bravura London Skincare Review*
A couple of months ago, I was offered the chance to try out some of the Bravura Skincare range and I couldn’t believe it when all this came through the door!
Even before using the products, I was really impressed with how they looked. I love the beautifully coloured glass bottles and the gold writing on the front with rose gold lids ♥
Trying Out Blog Event Products | Part One*
Since I started going to blog meets and events at the beginning of this year, I’ve accumulated about 6 drawers full of goodies! I always mean to get around to trying everything, but life and being forgetful lazy gets in the way. So I thought if I made blog posts out of it, I’d probably actually make an effort to try out some of the bits and let you know what they’re like!
Big Blogger Expo 2016
Two weeks ago I met up with the brilliant Aine (Honestly Aine) in London and we made our way to the Danubis Hotel in Regent’s Park for the Big Blogger Expo 2016. (Although we obviously stopped at 221B Baker Street too, because it would be rude not to!)
The Big Blogger Expo was set up by Lauren from Blonde Vision (who also runs Ldnmeetup) and it’s a great way to network with brands and bloggers.
The Body Shop Turns 40*
I remember my mum taking me to The Body Shop when I was a child; I remember their dolphin bath pearls, the shimmery gold pearls and the strawberry soaps. A lot has changed since then.
If you weren’t aware, The Body Shop hits the big 40 this year and I received an invite to help celebrate their 40th birthday at their flagship store right here in Brighton!
