My Five Favourite Easy Hairstyles*

There’s nothing worse in the summer than making an effort with your hair, only for the weather to play havoc with your locks. My hair used to go a bit Monica in the humidity, but now I find it just goes limp and lifeless, I wonder if that happens as you get older? 🙁

To stop my hair from looking boring and flat this summer, I’ve been using the John Frieda Luxurious Volume shampoo, Luxurious Volume conditioner and the Luxurious Volume in-shower treatment* to help my hair out.

I’ve also been experimenting a bit more with different looks, rather than just shoving it in a ponytail, so here are my top easy hairstyles 🙂

My Bus Pet Peeves

I get 4 buses a day on average to get to and from work, which works out at over 1,000 buses a year! Over the years, I’ve witnessed some pretty annoying bus behaviours, so I thought I’d share some of the ones that annoy me the most!!

August Advertiser 2017

August really has been a ridiculously exciting month for me. I started a new job that I’m absolutely loving, J and I took a couple of trips to IKEA to buy some new furniture and bits for the house (most of which we’ve put up already), I’ve caught up with loads of friends and also celebrated my birthday!! Living With Misophonia

So, following on from my post living with rosacea, I want to talk about another condition that I have and something that really isn’t known too much about.  I’m also going to guess though that a lot of people will be nodding along to this post saying they feel exactly like this too.  The condition is called misophonia.

My Disneyland Paris Adventure

J and I started dating back in November 2013, and after about a month, he said he was planning to take me away for Valentine’s Day! Not only was it exciting, it was also rather optimistic of him that we’d still be dating 2 months later! 😛 He wouldn’t tell me much, except that I needed to take 5 days off work and have a passport. I had one but it had expired; luckily it was a quiet time of the year to get a renewal and it arrived without any problems. I wondered if we were going to Prague as we’d both said we’d love to go there one day!

BTN BikeShare Review*

I used to love cycling when I was younger but, when I moved to the Isle of Wight at 13, I sold my bike because it was too hilly!! Every year since I’ve been saying I want to buy a bike so I can ride along the seafront to take in the summer beautiful views. Then every year I don’t end up buying a bike because I doubt I’d use it often enough to make it worthwhile.
