Procoal* Face Mask Review

I absolutely love a good pamper session, especially when it comes to popping on a face mask and chilling out for a while!

I have a drawer full of bubble masks, sheet masks and peel-off masks, so I was super excited to be asked to try Procoal‘s new Instaclear Control Masks!

Although my skin has been a lot better since using my Dermalogica and Pixi Beauty products for the last few months, my skin still suffers from the occasional breakout, especially closer to my period ๐Ÿ™ However, these masks are perfect for trouble-prone skin!

Using the face mask:

I found the face masks really easy to apply, I put the black side on my face and peeled off the white outer layer. It was a bit too big for my face, especially round the nose, but I used an old makeup brush to help smooth it down.

The masks didn’t really have much of a scent which I appreciated, considering the close proximity to my nose!!

The masks were really gentle and cooling on my face and I also found that they didn’t make my skin tingle or feel like it was burning at all (which some of my other sheet masks have done in the past).

I left the mask on for 20 minutes and sat back watching Dollhouse while the mask worked its magic ๐Ÿ˜€ Once the timer was up, I simply removed the sheet mask and massaged the remaining essence into my skin. It massaged in really well, dried really fast and didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky at all ๐Ÿ˜€

Afterwards my skin felt really hydrated and a little plumper. My spots looked a lot less red and angry and my skin felt soft and smoother!!

The science bit:

Each mask contains salicylic acid which can help to refine pores and purify blemish-prone skin, there’s also white willow bark extract to exfoliate the skin without irritation, they’ve been packed with a massive 25g of serum and also infused with rice bran extract to help with anti-aging (winner!!)

Other info you need to know:

You get 3 masks in a box and the boxes are currently on sale for ยฃ15.99 (usually ยฃ24.99 and both prices correct at the time of publication), which works out at ยฃ5.33 each. That’s definitely not the most I’ve ever paid for a face mask!! The masks are really great value for money, especially as they actually seem to work so well for my skin ๐Ÿ™‚ They’re also completely free from parabens, silicones, SLS, mineral oil and paraffin and Procoal London are a cruelty-free company โค๏ธโค๏ธ

If you’re looking for some fab new face masks to try, I’d definitely recommend these! I really want to try their hydrating Marine Moisture masks next!!

  1. I hadnโ€™t thought of using a makeup brush to smooth down masks! such a good idea. Definitely want to look into these masks after seeing your post as well as loads of other peopleโ€™s! โค

    1. Yeah, I found the idea online somewhere and thought I’d give it a go, saves getting my hands all messy too! I love them ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š x

  2. I love a good pamper session with some face masks too and these sound great. I suffer from pretty dry skin (especially in the colder weather). I might have to give these a try.
P.S. Dollhouse is a great show! Have you seen Tru Calling? Another one starring Eliza.
