I absolutely love a good pamper session, especially when it comes to popping on a face mask and chilling out for a while!
I have a drawer full of bubble masks, sheet masks and peel-off masks, so I was super excited to be asked to try Procoal‘s new Instaclear Control Masks!
Although my skin has been a lot better since using my Dermalogica and Pixi Beauty products for the last few months, my skin still suffers from the occasional breakout, especially closer to my period π However, these masks are perfect for trouble-prone skin!
Using the face mask:
I found the face masks really easy to apply, I put the black side on my face and peeled off the white outer layer. It was a bit too big for my face, especially round the nose, but I used an old makeup brush to help smooth it down.
The masks didn’t really have much of a scent which I appreciated, considering the close proximity to my nose!!
The masks were really gentle and cooling on my face and I also found that they didn’t make my skin tingle or feel like it was burning at all (which some of my other sheet masks have done in the past).
I left the mask on for 20 minutes and sat back watching Dollhouse while the mask worked its magic π Once the timer was up, I simply removed the sheet mask and massaged the remaining essence into my skin. It massaged in really well, dried really fast and didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky at all π
Afterwards my skin felt really hydrated and a little plumper. My spots looked a lot less red and angry and my skin felt soft and smoother!!
The science bit:
Each mask contains salicylic acid which can help to refine pores and purify blemish-prone skin, there’s also white willow bark extract to exfoliate the skin without irritation, they’ve been packed with a massive 25g of serum and also infused with rice bran extract to help with anti-aging (winner!!)
Other info you need to know:
You get 3 masks in a box and the boxes are currently on sale for Β£15.99 (usually Β£24.99 and both prices correct at the time of publication), which works out at Β£5.33 each. That’s definitely not the most I’ve ever paid for a face mask!! The masks are really great value for money, especially as they actually seem to work so well for my skin π They’re also completely free from parabens, silicones, SLS, mineral oil and paraffin and Procoal London are a cruelty-free company β€οΈβ€οΈ
If you’re looking for some fab new face masks to try, I’d definitely recommend these! I really want to try their hydrating Marine Moisture masks next!!

I love a good pamper session with some face masks too and these sound great. I suffer from pretty dry skin (especially in the colder weather). I might have to give these a try.
P.S. Dollhouse is a great show! Have you seen Tru Calling? Another one starring Eliza.
Yeah my face gets so dry in winter too so these have been amazing!
Omg yes, I forgot about Tru Calling!!
It’s such a good show, isn’t it? Ended on such a cliff hanger though.
I have to admit, I don’t actually remember any of it past the name and the fact Eliza Dushku was in it x
They look fab!! Not too expensive either. thanks for sharing x x
