Blog Posts I’ve Loved This Month

I try to read as many blog posts as I can, when I can. Sometimes I love reading the favourites post or the what I got up to at the weekend ones, but sometimes, there are certain blog posts that make me think or that I want literally everyone in the world to read. So I thought I’d share my love for some of my favourite posts I’ve read this month!

Hannah Gale is a blogger who just writes what we’re all thinking. Her post on “You Don’t Need To Achieve Everyday” is a stark reminder that it’s okay to take time off. But she says it a lot better and sassier than I do.

We all know I absolutely love Jemma from Dorkface and I’m so honoured to be able to call her a friend ♥ She’s been absolutely smashing out amazing posts, but her recent one about “Who Do You Want To Be?” really stood out.  It’s all about her wanting to be someone else through different stages of her life and who she wants to be now. If you’ve not read it yet, I highly recommend you pop over and check it out right now! (Okay maybe not right now, at least finish this post first! Pop it open in another tab perhaps).

If you’ve been following the latest blogging drama (why there aren’t any male blogger categories in the Blogosphere Magazine awards), there’s been a lot of tantrum throwing, feet-stamping and name calling. Arran from Halo Of Thoughts wrote this fantastic post on “Why We Don’t Need Male Specific Awards“. It’s definitely worth checking out, especially if you’ve not seen any of the drama!

Fiona from Wishes, Hopes, Dreams is another blogger I hugely admire and she’s so fab with the technical side of blogging. One of my favourite posts she’s written this month is a Business Organisation list; things you need to remember to do if you’re a blogger and get paid for it! The post also includes a link to her blogging tips post which is also another fab read!

It’s awesome when a blog post goes viral, and this one from Vix Meldrew did just that recently. It’s all about the newest dating term which is hyping. And something that’s happened to me twice now! To find out what it is and whether it’s happened to you, check out her “Are You Hyping? The Dating Term We All Need To Know” post.

As someone who doesn’t have allergies, I’m quite lucky because I don’t have to think about what products I can and can’t buy. Tania’s post really opened my eyes to the struggles some people can face when buying makeup, even if it’s a product they’ve bought before. To learn more, check out her post “What I Wish People Knew About Beauty Shopping With Allergies” over on When Tania Talks.

The last post on my list this month is from the lovely Dee (The Dee Who Lived). She’s written a raw and brutally honest post for Mental Health Awareness Week, regarding her mum and her prognosis. It’s not a comfortable read, but it’s written from the heart and gives a small insight into what anyone could be going through without you knowing.  This is Dee’s “Darkest Moment” which contains a TW for attempted suicide.
