Last week when I went to The Maker Club event with Tania, her face was so absolutely flawless, I begged her to let me in on her secret. It was Too Faced’s Born This Way foundation! I was all over that and I forced her to Debenhams so I could get colour-matched. Aaaand they were out of stock. So I bought some online and picked it up last Wednesday.
As I’d got a few new bits of make-up recently; including the Lasting Perfection concealer from Collection, the Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Liqueur* and the Sleek Eau La La Liner in Black*, I figured I’d do a little make-up of the day post so I could test everything out!
For the eye area, I started by lining my upper lids with the Rimmel pen liner and added the Sleek liner to the bottom lashline. I’ve been using the Rimmel Kohl soft pencil since I was 16 so I was dubious about using another pencil eyeliner. I think I’ve honestly been converted! It lasted all day! And I used it on the hottest day last week and it was still all there when I got home. I love, love love it! And apparently they’re versatile too, you can use them as eye or lip liners! I used my W7 In The Nude palette for my lids.
I finished my eyes off with a slick of Maybelline’s Lash Sensational mascara and my brows were of course done with my beloved Sleek brow kit.
I used my trusty RT sponge to blend my foundation and went over any spots with the concealer. How gorgeous does that bottle look??
Finally I put some Sleek lipstick on and OMG, I absolutely love it!! Its such a gorgeous nude colour ♥ Although it’s tiny, it packs one hell of a punch and it’s completely buildable.
This was a really pretty but casual day look which I teamed with a messy half bun.
I’m definitely loving the foundation although I’ll have to try it a few more times to see whether I love it more than my beloved Double Wear Light!!
What’s your favourite foundation? LEt me know in the comments below 🙂
