I’ve changed my makeup for spring, I’ve started changing my wardrobe; hell, I’ve even started lightening my hair for those sunnier days; but I find to really change into that spring-to-summer mood, I also need to change my bedding to reflect the lighter, warmer days and those hot, sticky nights.
J and I are currently using our black bedding set which is perfect for when Bear comes in with muddy paws; but to me, it doesn’t exactly scream spring and a big heavy duvet isn’t really a great choice for a cool night’s sleep either. A great alternative to a duvet is to have a bedspread and I’m so in love with these bedspreads at the moment, they’re all on my wishlist! Wait, when did I reach that age where a bedspread wishlist was a thing? Do I get my adult badge now?
This stripey pastel offering from Zara Home is just beautiful; it makes me think of beach huts, sticks of rock and summer!
This beautiful garden print is from Wayfair and it definitely makes me think of spring; I just adore the green and cream combination!
The Havana grey stripe is the perfect choice for a colour neutral bedroom. It looks smart and stylish and could be brightened up with some cushions.
I think the Botanique bedspread is so pretty and to me looks the epitome of springtime. It’s just so light and airy.
I love the patchwork effect of the Palonia bedspread. I could definitely see us (well okay, me) getting this for the guest bedroom (when we finally get round to finishing the Master bedroom that is!)
This Vintage postcard bedspread is so, so beautiful; I love the colours and the pattern doesn’t look too busy 🙂
I have a slightly weird obsession with stags, deer and moose; no, I have no idea why either, but the Grampian Stag Sherpa throw is just perfect for me *cough* I mean us. Definitely us. J and I. Me and J. <3
These gorgeous bedspreads are on SALE at Yorkshire Linen with free delivery on orders over £50.
