After I posted a pic of the Blogosphere Magazine on my Insta page recently, I got several comments from people who either hadn’t read it or hadn’t heard of it, so I really wanted to write a post all about the mag and why it’s such an important publication to be a part of.
The magazine was set up in October 2013 by Alice Audley who wanted to design something that was for bloggers by bloggers. Because no one really quite gets a blogger like another blogger, amiright?
Since its conception, the magazine has gone from strength to strength. It’s currently £6 per issue and they come out quarterly. It might sound like quite a lot of money for a magazine, but when you consider that it has over 160 pages crammed full with amazing content, it’s definitely worth every penny! And best of all, there aren’t about 50 pages of bloody adverts like you see in other magazines!
Even from the beginning they’ve had massive names in the world of blogging gracing their front covers; from Estée Lalonde to Fleur de Force, Lily Pebbles, Victoria from InTheFrow and, on the most recent issue, Zoella. (Who’s apparently notoriously difficult to get as a cover star!) It’s THE magazine that everyone wants to be a part of. There are in-depth interviews with all the cover stars in each issue and you get to find out interesting info like; why they started blogging, what motivates them, where they see blogging going in the future and getting to know the person behind the blog 🙂
Like with most magazines, it’s split into different sections including; beauty, health, lifestyle, travel and more with every article being written by a different blogger, creator or YouTuber. Each managing editor gets to pick 5 different bloggers from their category they’re currently loving and there are mini interviews with each one ♥ It often means you either find some new blogs to read and love or you see someone you know featuring, which is always exciting!!
There are some amazingly useful tips; like how to improve your Insta game, dealing with pushy PRs and doing your taxes! I can’t wait to read this one as I’ll be doing my blog taxes for the first time this year!! (This article is in the Zoella issue).
I love that they also focus on smaller/newer bloggers as well and have a section called In The Spotlight where bloggers can nominate their favourite blogger via the hashtag #InTheSpotlight on Twitter and each quarter the magazine features their top ten; you can even nominate yourself! If you want to be part of this, just follow Blogosphere Magazine on Twitter for updates on when entries are re-opened each time!
The magazine first came to my attention last year when I had the privilege of meeting Albertine, the Events Guru and editorial assistant. We met at the Brighton blog meet and she was absolutely lovely. We sat and chatted for ages about blogging, the magazine and everything in between.
After the event, I kept meaning to check them out but promptly forgot, until I got my invite to their Cover reveal party to announce the star of issue 9! I was kindly given a copy of issue 9 with Ella Grace Denton on the cover and was immediately hooked and have got every issue since!
Unfortunately, most of the back issues are out of stock, but you can pick up the latest issue from WHSmiths or the Blogosphere Magazine website. There’s also the option to subscribe and I recently signed up for a year and got the Zoella issue (11) through the post the next day!! How’s that for amazing service?
I opted for the bronze subscription which is £25 for a year and includes 4 copies of the magazine (which you get before it hits the shelves) and a 10% discount on all ticketed events that Blogosphere hold! They hold loads of different events throughout the year which are well worth checking out as they often have amazing speakers, different brands attending and it’s a great networking opportunity to meet different bloggers. Áine and I are off to their afternoon tea event in April 🙂
Have you heard of the Blogosphere Magazine before? Have you read it? Let me know in the comments below 🙂 x

Hello sorry to bother you, I’m a french student at La Sorbonne in media literacy and my final research paper is about « vlogvember » and Adrian Bliss. Thanks to the magic of Google, I came across your update article I was wondering : there is anyway possible to get the Issue 11 or just the pictures of adrian Bliss’ interview cause I can’t find the paper anywhere (in my town) or in the internet. This issue seems to be so interesting for my subject.
Thank you in advance,
Have a lovely day
Hi, thanks for getting in touch, unfortunately I’m not sure where my copies are at the moment. Have you tried contacting the Blogosphere Magazine directly? x

I love the Blogosphere mag! I managed to get my hands on all the back issues, so I’m currently wading my way through ’em from Issue 1. They are so useful, well put together and interesting!
OMG, you’re so lucky! I tried but they were all out of stock :'( x

Definitely, there are so many great tips and it’s so inspiring!! 🙂 x
I loved the mag! But I really Don’t like Victoria from InTheFrow, or Zoella – so have skipped the past two mags, I love it when they focus on different bloggers, rather than sales, but hey they are a business, and cannot wait for their next mag!

To be fair, I love the content of the entire mag so personally I’d buy it no matter who was on the cover, but that’s just me 🙂
I love Blogosphere magazine, I’ve bought 3 issues so far and waiting for issue 12 to reach my local WH Smiths. It’s crammed full of so many helpful features from other bloggers or stuff that’s going on in the blogging world. Great idea for a magazine for bloggers by bloggers.

See, if you bought a subscription you’d get it before it reached the shops 😛
It’s such a great mag though isn’t it? x
I had no idea magazine like this even existed. I need to look out for it next time I’m in town 🙂
The big WHSmiths in Churchill Square sell them. They may have sold out of issue 11 and issue 12 isn’t out yet x

I love this magazine! It’s great that it includes smaller bloggers as well as the more well known ones!
I know, it makes it feel like it’s aimed at everyone that way and I’ve spotted several people I know in the magazines 🙂 x
I’ve never heard of it. Sounds interesting though!
It’s definitely interesting, and useful! I’ve learnt so many great tips about blogging from this mag 🙂
I’ve briefly heard about it, passing on Twitter but nothing as in depth as this! I love it, great post and very informational. I think I might check it out more if it’s includes over 160 pages of stuff rather than adverts!

Thank you, glad you liked the post! Yeah, I think it shocks people when they realise how big the magazine is lol!
Yees! £6 is quite expensive but then when you hear it’s a quarterly magazine & 160 pages, that’s actually amazing
Exactly!! And that works out as £2 a month which sounds even better 🙂 x
I’ve never heard of this before but what a great idea! I’m off for nosy on Twitter now! Lisa
Enjoy!!
