This summer I’ve been in the garden quite a lot. Unfortunately not sunbathing and relaxing, but digging holes and building walls. Oh, and that one day where me, J and my brother attempted to have a BBQ and it wouldn’t stop spitting with rain but we stayed out anyway because we’re quintessentially British š
It’s also been a really weird couple of weeks where the weather has been really humid with loads of cloud and not much actual sunshine.
I realise that this is a pretty odd post to write considering my recent “I hate summer” post, but occasionally I do have to brave the outside world. Sometimes I even choose to; especially if there’s a BBQ involved. As long as I feel prepared, I’m pretty okay with being outdoors. So here are theĀ essential items that I’ll always be carrying in my bag over the summer months.
I’m seeing a lot of posts at the moment where everyone is talking about how awesome summer is. Now don’t get me wrong, I do love a bit of warm weather, exposing my pasty legs and doing a bit of sun worship (then staying out too long and looking like a little jelly baby), but there are also times when summer can be a right dick and hereĀ are my ten reasons why.
