I’ve known about Crownbrush for a couple of years now, having followed them on Twitter for ages and even been to an event they were also at but, if I’m being completely honest, I thought they only sold make-up brushes and eyeshadow palettes. Turns out I was wrong; very, very wrong!!
Back in August, I was lucky enough to win one of the Shadow Switches from Beauty Essentials. You may have seen them floating round the blogging world recently, but what exactly is a Shadow Switch? (Totally said in the tone of Mr Weasley regarding the functions of rubber ducks!)
Back in February, I bought this contour kit from Collection but I only tried it once and then shoved it in my make-up drawer to gather dust. I decided I couldn’t get on with it and that I’d never learn how to use it properly; especially as I was using a blusher brush because I didn’t actually own a contour brush. Yeah, I know right? What kind of beauty blogger am I??
A couple of weeks ago, Aine (from Honestly Aine) and I were going to meet up for a coffee in Brighton; but then she said that Crownbrush were having a small event at the new Vanity X make-up academy and did I want to go that instead? So we hit London to check it out!
