I can’t believe that I’ve been going to a personal trainer now for 6 months!! It still feels like a pretty unreal experience but I’ve been making the most of it at every session!!
Since the last post, I’ve now joined Pure Gym as well so I can go and do mid-week workouts closer to home! Saying that, I’ve only been 6 times in the last three months so I really need to step that up a gear!!
I also entered Aaron’s competition he was running with his other clients. We had to keep track of our calorie intake and steps taken every day and upload them every Saturday. The person who was the most consistent would win a £50 gift voucher to Miller and Carter. Being a competitive sausage, especially when it comes to food, I only went and won, didn’t I? I can’t wait to go with J and eat all the steak!!
My current weight:
When I wrote my last post 3 months ago, I had reached 10st 13lbs (from a starting weight of 12st 2lbs). I’m now 10st 3lbs and I definitely don’t want to lose any more or I won’t be able to fit into any of the new clothes I’ve bought! I can definitely feel the difference though, I feel more comfortable in my own body and my old clothes now fit perfectly 🙂
My progress measurements:
- Arms: 11″ (0.5″ loss from the last post)
- Chest: 38″ (1.5″ loss from the last post)
- Waist: 29″ (2.5″ loss from the last post)
- Hips: 38″ (2″ loss from the last post)
- Thighs: 21.5″ (0.5″ loss from the last post)
I’ve definitely started to sled down with my inch loss but I’m super happy with how well it’s going and where I’m currently at 🙂 Although, if I lose one more inch from my waist, I’ll be a perfect hourglass shape, but I’m not really that bothered if I don’t get there! I think the thing I’m most pleased with is the weight coming off my chest. I used to feel incredibly disproportionate as they looked huge, but I feel they suit my body shape better now 🙂

My goals now are to start going to the gym more regularly outside of my PT sessions and to increase the amount of weights I use. I also want to carry on toning up as my tummy and thighs are still pretty wobbly 😂😂
My progress calories:
I’m now up to eating 1,625 calories, wahey!! I have been slacking with keeping track of my carb/fat/protein intake recently though so I need to find some low-fat but high in protein meals to make! If anyone has any suggestions, let me know in the comments!!
My progress exercises:
I’ve now moved on to doing pull ups (with resistance bands, which make it a lot easier, although at some point Aaron will take the bands away and I’ll just have to pull myself up!!)
I also started deadlifting with a trap bar and got up to 55 kg!!! I actually really love this exercise!!
Press pushes are another new move for me. I’m currently on 15 kg 🙂
RDLs are now at 42 kg, although I’m using a bar now which makes it a lot easier 🙂
I’m also now able to box squat with 30 kg, which is the most I’ve ever squatted with 😀 😀
I’m looking forward to seeing how much I progress at my next update post 🙂
