And just like that, April ended and May began! April was lovely as J and I had some annual leave which we spent really productively doing projects round the house. I also treated myself to a couple of new things!
Our Garden Renovation | Part One
I’m so excited to finally be able to share this with you all 🙂 Last year J and I took the plunge and invested a hell lot of our money into having our garden completely landscaped.
As you’ll see from the photos, it used to look more like an urban jungle/wilderness than a garden. A lot of people asked why we didn’t do it ourselves; until they saw pictures of what we’d have to contend with!
Starting Our Garden Project
We have a large untamed garden extending all the way round our house. Â There’s rubble, weeds, brambles and often frogs, slowworms, foxes and badgers as well. The project, quite simply, is too large for J and I to undertake alone, especially considering J has CFS, so can’t really do much in one go. So we thought we’d hire a landscaper.
