For years I’ve been saying that a lot of people just don’t know how (or can’t be bothered) to cook anymore and it’s bloody terrifying. I did a food technology GCSE and instead of learning basic skills like different ways to make eggs or how to cook different meats, (you know all the important life skills), we spent hours learning about how a microwave works. Yeah thanks education, that really came in handy.
When the Co-op sent me an email asking if I’d like to get involved with their #ReverseAdvent campaign, I signed up straight away and a few days later, I received a box and a £5 Co-op voucher to help me get started.
I usually buy my mum a lovely card, send some beautiful spring flowers and call her up for a long chat 🙂 Although when I was younger, I used to buy my mum such treats as gold jewellery with Mother written across it, sorry Mum!! <3
This year, I thought I’d treat her to something a bit different! (Mum, if you’ve decided to read my blog, this isn’t the post you’re looking for. Go away and do some embroidery or something!!)
