Deborah Mitchell Heaven Skincare*

If you read my Big Blogger Expo post, you’ll have seen me mention that I won one of the raffle prizes; a Heaven Skincare set from Deborah Mitchell. I also said I’d share exactly what I’d won in a post. So here it is!

I’d not heard of the brand before so I was keen to read up on it and was interested to learn that they use bee venom in a lot of their products, which claims to be nature’s botox! I was definitely keen to get stuck in to the bag and test everything out! And jesus, there was a LOT in the bag…

The pink bottle is their New Edition Cleansing cream which I’ve tried out a couple of times and contains bee venom. It’s meant to be great for anti-aging and removing make-up.

I’ve mostly been using the yellow Cleanse and Foam Wash every morning and evening. It smells of oranges and it’s designed to firm skin and increase collagen levels. It’s been leaving my skin feeling really smooth and soft.

The green Peppermint Clarifying Hydrogel is pretty much a toner and is for refining pores, revitalising skin and can even be used as a primer! I’ve been using it every day and I’ve only needed the tiniest amount! I think it’s going to last for ages 🙂

The Age Defiance Cream plumps out fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also meant to be great at helping calm down rosacea as it contains Tea Tree Oil! I’ve not tried it yet, as I’m currently testing out another moisturiser, but I’ll definitely be giving it a go when I can.

I was really intrigued to try the Silver Bee Venom Mask as this is one of their signature products. Their website says that it “contains bee venom that works to control the facial muscles for immediate lifting, tightening and firming, whilst getting to work on frown lines and wrinkles.” I applied it for about 20 minutes before washing it off. It did feel quite tingly at first but it soon settled down. I’d definitely try it out again 🙂

The Dream Oil Serum is another of the products I’ve not tried yet as I’m testing out other serums for a future post, but I can’t wait to give it a go. It can apparently turn dry or greasy skin back to normal, which is a pretty bold claim!

The Bee Polish is weird. And sting-y. Really sting-y; although it did stop as soon as I washed it off! I thought as it had sugar in, it would feel more like a scrub, but it didn’t. I’d definitely be up for giving it another go though.

I’m absolutely chuffed to bits with my raffle prize and I’m looking forward to carrying on using the products and trying out the ones I’ve not used yet! I might even use them all at the same time!

Have you tried any of the Heaven Skincare range? Which product would you most want to try? Let me know in the comments below 🙂 x

  1. Wow what an awesome raffle prize! I love the sound of the bee venom … That’s something I’ll have to try and get my hands on to try.
