Zoella Beauty Jelly and Gelato Review

A couple of months ago, I helped out one of my friends when they were in a bit of a pickle, and as a massive thank you, a parcel with some of the new Zoella Jelly and Gelato range rocked up at my door!! I was so surprised as I never help people to get something back, so it was a really lovely gesture!!!

So I thought I’d take some pics, test out the products and let you know what I thought πŸ™‚

First up, the packaging is just gorgeous. It’s beautifully pastel with stunning gold foil details and feels a litte more “grown-up” than some of her earlier products.

Gelato Shower Shake:

This is a body wash that’s designed to cleanse and moisturise the body at the same time. It contains extracts of Elderflower and Pomegranate to help brighten, smooth and tone the skin.

I love the packaging for this one as it’s designed to look like a milkshake with all the extras; the little straw poking out of the top is such a lovely extra touch πŸ™‚

I haven’t actually had the chance to use it yet as I opened it to smell it but now the cap won’t close properly, so I’m waiting until I finish something else so I can swap the caps over; otherwise the shower shake is just going to leak out all over the shower and bath!!

Gelato Body Pudding:

This is a whipped body cream, again with extract of Elderflower and Pomegranate.

This smells absolutely divine but isn’t too overpowering. I was just expecting a white cream, but this body pudding actually has little pink bits in it that disappeared when I rubbed it into my skin. It looks so pretty πŸ™‚

The cream really moisturised well and left my skin feeling really soft and looking really healthy! I’m definitely impressed with this product β™₯

Gelato Shower Sauce:

Your bog-standard shower gel, but with slightly more fancy wording for that luxury feel πŸ˜€

I was surprised when I squeezed some of this out as I was expecting a smooth, slightly runny gel, but this definitely looked more like jelly πŸ˜€ It foams really quickly though and left my skin feeling smooth and luxurious πŸ™‚ I’d definitely get this one again!

Gelato Bath Wafers:

What the bloody hell is a bath wafer I hear you ask? Well, I thought they were going to be really thin wafers (kinda like rose petals) that you sprinkle in the bath. Instead, it’s one massive pink bar that looks like a wafer and is cut into two triangle shapes.

I’m guessing that you just break off little bits and add it to the bath, well that’s what I did anyway!!

Have you tried any of the new Zoella Beauty products yet? What did you think? Let me know in the comments below πŸ™‚ x

  1. I haven’t tried Zoe’s beauty products but they always have fun themes and concepts and sound really fun! The body pudding seems like a winner, the pink bits melting away sound cool and I’ll be checking back for a picture lol x

  2. My shower shake lid is weird too! Must be an overall design flaw. I love the packaging but I didn’t love the scent. Probably didn’t help that I had an air freshener that smelled identical so I just associate it with that!

  3. Haha I would have no clue what a bath wafer is either! I’ve never actually tried anything from Zoella… However this is the absolute prettiest range, and your photos are stunning! It sounds like it’s a good range though, and everyone has been raving about the scents!
