Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil (001: Dark Brown) – I think this is way too dark for my skin tone, but I haven’t got round to throwing it away yet, I’m not sure I can!
Silk of Morocco Eyebrow Enhancer (Light) – This is a relatively new purchase for me. I’m still getting used to using it and trying not spilling the fibres all over my face, it’s really not going well, does anyone else have this problem? I find I often have to wipe parts off and start again.
Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil (002: Hazel) – I get on with this product a lot better, it doesn’t give me a particularly natural look, but does help to thicken my “barely-there brows”.
Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner (01: Intense Black) – I quite like this product which comes with its own little brush. The only thing I don’t like is how quickly it dries, so if you make a mistake, which I frequently do, it’s hard to correct!
Rimmel Glam’eyes liquid eyeliner (001: Black Glamour) – I do really like this product, but it’s taking a lot of getting used to, especially holding the brush at the right angle so I don’t get it all over my eyelids!
Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal eyeliner (001: Jet Black) – I love this product. It’s my favourite eyeliner of all time. I’ve worn it for years and it’s never let me down. It goes on easily, you can sharpen it for a thin precise line or blunt it slightly for a thicker line. It’s easy to correct mistakes and it smudges brilliantly.
Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr eyeshadow (25: Everlasting Navy) – This was an impulse purchase my friend egged me into buying! It’s a gel cream eyeshadow and I find it really hard to wear; it smudges really easily and shows up every crease. I’m not sure how I feel about this but I do like the colour!
17 Eyes eyeshadow trio (Smoky Quartz) – I bought this while going through my Goth stage and I really hate the black because it’s sparkly and I always end up with bits in my eyes 🙁 I do like the white and the grey though and still use them, even though I should probably throw it away because it’s so old!
Avon Golden Sands palette (Shimmering Sands) – I’ve not used this palette much recently, but I used to use it all the time. (It was a present from an ex-boyfriend’s mum.) The colours are really pretty and have great staying power.
Rimmel Colour Rush mono eyeshadow (214: Jet Black) – Another Gothic stage purchase. I really like this black though as it’s matte black and is brilliant for smoky eyes and flicks.
Micabella Shimmer Powder (27: Striptease) – I bought this in San Francisco and I love it for its versatility. You can use it as powder or wet your brush first for a really bold look, you can even mix it with lip balm for a shimmery gloss or paint it on wet for a subtle nail varnish. The only downside is that it generally goes all over the place when you open the lid!!
Sleek palette (Au Naturel) – I am absolutely loving the Sleek palettes. The packaging stylish and the colours inside are amazing. There are a lot of matte colours in this palette with some lovely dark shimmers too. The colours have lovely names like toast, cappuccino and conker. I find the colours can be a little on the light side so I often wet the brush before applying.
Estée Lauder Pure Colour Envy eye palette (08: Infamous Sky) – Guess what I’m going to say? That’s right, another impulse buy!! (see part one if you have no idea what I’m talking about :P) The woman at the counter was so lovely though and to be honest, I really wanted all the things! I’m glad I did because it started me down the road of loving and being excited by make-up! I do like this palette but I don’t really use it much at the moment, I think after my blue eyeshadow tutorial attempt though, I may start using it more!
Sleek palette (Storm) – A gorgeous palette full of lovely dark mattes and shimmers. The colours have names like Firestorm, Gathering Storm and Electric Storm.
Makeup Revolution (Go To Hell!) – This is my newest palette and I can’t stop using it! There are some lovely light and dark colours and an amazing bright purple and blue. The inner colours are quite small, but as it only costs about £3, it’s great value for money!
No7 Define and Shimmer eye palette – This is an old palette of mine, but a good one! It says it gives you a touch of Autumn chic and it doesn’t lie. The colours are really pigmented and all work really well together. Now September has arrived, bringing Autumn with it, I may have to start wearing this more.
The Color Workshop eyeshadow and blush – I’m pretty sure my mum gave these to me years ago. They’re probably waaaay out of date and I forgot I had them until I found them in a random box upstairs! I also don’t think that I used the colours in the empty compartments, I think I frequently dropped them and the shadows fell out :/ Oops!
Markwins Baked Eyeshadow palette – Again, I have no idea where this came from, I think my mum may have got it free with other purchases many years ago. I’ve used this palette quite a lot, especially the black and white. I absolutely love the bright blue and pink!
Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lash mascara – I’m yet to get on with this product. It comes with two bottles/tubes (what is a mascara container actually called??). You apply the gel first and while it’s still wet, you apply the fibres. You then apply another coat of gel to seal it. I just end up with fibres in my eyes 🙁
Collection Colour Lash mascara (Blue) – The tube is see-through and the blue is really vivid. It’s a little disappointing that it’s not as blue when it’s on. It’s subtle but does look good with blue, purple or any light eyeshadow colours.
Maybelline Big Eyes mascara (Black) – I’ve loved Maybelline mascaras for years and this one is great, it has a big wand for the upper lashes and a small wand for the lower lashes. I think I may try the Sensational next as I’ve heard so many good things about it.
Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara (01: Extreme Black) – I got this free as I’d spent so much at the counter! My lashes are long and thick anyway but they look amazing with this one!! The only downside is, it’s not waterproof at all, not even a tiny bit. I probably won’t buy a full-sized one when it runs out, especially not at £24!
Maybelline Sensational mascara – I wanted to try it, so I went out and bought it. I’ve not had the chance to use it yet, but I can’t wait as I’ve read so many great things about this mascara!
Do you have any of these? What’s your favourite or what are you dying to try out? x
