The Higher Nature Evening*

Gift bags

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited along to check out a brand that was completely new to my radar; Higher Nature. The event was held at BozBoz Gallery in Brighton (near St Peter’s Church) which was the perfect setting to show off their products.

Higher Nature are a UK company who offer high quality, ethical and well-researched nutritional supplements. All the products are naturally sourced, free from preservatives and are vegetarian/vegan where possible.

The first products I was shown were the bath soaks; The Special Dead Sea Soak which has over 21 minerals and nourishes and soothes aching muscles and the Alka Bathe to cleanse, detox and revitalise! At the bottom of this post, you can enter my giveaway to win one of THREE pots of the Special Dead Sea Soak and a skin brush as well 🙂

Higher Nature were showcasing some of their Eterna Gold range. The Collagen Crème Serum helps plump and firm facial tissue and has vitamin C. I was really intrigued by this product as I’m now approaching mid-thirties and have never used a collagen product before. They also do a Collagen drink (it’s granules that you dissolve in water/juice) and Hyaluronic Acid capsules!

If you’re ever in need of hangover help, these fab products will have you covered! The Milk Thistle not only helps with over-indulgence with alcohol, but it also helps your digestive system if you’ve stuffed your face with all that Christmas and party food too 😀 I definitely need this as I tend to graze a lot over the holiday period! The Performax Sports Hydrate are re-hydrating sachets which replenish essential electrolytes, perfect for the morning after a night of dancing!

I was also intrigued by their sleep and relaxation aids. The Rest Well mouth spray tastes like peppermint!! It has vitamin B3 to help reduce tiredness and fatigue, an amino acid (5-HTP) to help produce melatonin (the hormone naturally produced by the body in the evening triggered by the onset of darkness) and theanine, naturally occurring in green tea and widely used in Japan which is a relaxing amino acid. The Worry Not spray is strawberry and vanilla mouth spray, perfectly designed for stressful situations. Containing vitamins B1, B3, B6 and B12, it helps the normal functioning of the nervous system and has lemon balm and passionflower which are known for relaxation!!

They’d also set up a photo booth, a nail salon and a massage area!! I had an amazing neck and shoulder massage from Su Jackson; she was absolutely amazing and I can definitely recommend her ♥

Rosie, Millie and I then took full advantage of the photo booth; they even had props!!

We were all also given goody bags; I got a box of the Performax Sports Hydrate; these will be fab to try once I start back up doing pole fitness again next year!! I was also kindly given the Rest Well spray which I’ve loved using so far!!

What are your favourite products to help you through stressful times? Let me know in the comments below 🙂 x
