The Body Shop | Christmas 2018*

A couple of weeks ago, I was very kindly invited to hang out with a load of other bloggers (and friends) at The Body Shop in Brighton for a sneak peek at their new Christmas products!

Leon restaurants was also there with some incredible vegan fast food; I got to try their amazing lentil masala! I’ve had one of their halloumi wraps before and I definitely want to go back to try out some of the other foods on their menu! If you fancy checking them out, they’re based at 75 North Street in Brighton (plus other restaurants round the UK) 😊

We then had an introduction to the new Christmas products coming out; including these amazing advent calendars. All the calendars are designed around an enchanted forest theme and the products inside are designed to revive and re-energise your body and mind πŸ™‚ (Don’t worry, I won’t spoil it and tell you what’s inside any of them but, if you love The Body Shop products, these calendars will make you very happy :D)

The 24 days of Christmas Enchanted calendar is Β£45 and has Β£85 worth of products inside. This calendar features Olivia the owl and looks more like your standard chocolate calendar where you pop each door open πŸ™‚

The 25 days of Christmas (the Enchanted Deluxe) calendar features Dani the deer and, for Β£121 worth of products, it’s only Β£65! This one has individual boxes for you to pull out and open instead <3

There is a 25 days of Christmas (Enchanted Ultimate) calendar, which is a lot pricier at Β£99 (although it has a whopping Β£231 worth of products and features Freddy the fox), but it’s only available in London ☹️

We were then told about the three scents out for this Christmas. First up is Peppermint Candy Cane which smells absolutely incredible ❀️❀️ I love the design on the packaging, it just looks super Christmassy and pretty πŸ˜€

Next is the Vanilla Marshmallow which, if I remember correctly, was also a scent last year as well πŸ™‚ I love the warm cosy feel to this scent and it makes me think of cosy fires, blankets and a hot chocolate!

They also have Berry Bon Bon, which is an exciting deep berry scent and the products have been infused with cranberry seed oil for that authentic Christmas smell πŸ˜€ This is probably my favourite one as I adore fruity smells!!

There are so many incredible gift ideas this year, they’ve really gone to town! I love these little festive sacks, filled with their Christmas scented products! They each come with a shower gel, body scrub, body butter and a hand cream for Β£18!

The houses of delight sets feature a shower gel, a body butter from the Christmas scent range plus a little bath sponge. I love the packaging for this one as it looks like a gingerbread house. These retail for Β£9 each.

The Olivia Owl forest set is pretty sweet and contains some products from their strawberry and coconut ranges. Inside you get a strawberry shower gel, bath bomb and hand cream, plus a coconut shower cream, bath bubble and hand cream. This is on sale for Β£18.

I adore these sweet little bath bombs! You can choose from Olivia Owl (vanilla marshmallow), Robbie Reindeer (peppermint candy cane) or Freddy Fox (berry bon bon). At Β£2.50 each, they’d make ideal stocking fillers πŸ™‚

Unfortunately I was only able to be there for an hour, so I missed the free hand massage, the mini makeover session and the guess the body butter smell game 😭😭

I did get a personalised body butter for my friend’s birthday though. It’s such a lovely idea as you can create a photo or text, saying anything you like (within character limits and probably within reason) and it prints as a sticker to put on the top of the body butters 😊😊

I was also very kindly given a goody bag to take away which contained a green tea bath bomb, some Moringa shower gel (which smells absolutely incredible), a little pot of the Oils of Life sleeping cream which I can’t wait to try out, some vitamin E cream which is essential during the cold months and a Reggie Rouc bath sponge πŸ˜€

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Leon and The Body Shop for a lovely event, and a special shout out to Maria who let me take a few samples of face masks home when I popped in a couple of weeks later πŸ™‚
