GOSH first landed on my radar last year when I received their nail hardener in my Girl Gang goody bag. I was thrilled to be invited to attend their SS17 launch earlier this year, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to go. They incredibly kindly sent me out some products to try out anyway! What a lovely company, right?
When I got my invite recently to check out their AW17 products, I knew I couldn’t miss it, so I travelled up to London to see what they’d come up with 🙂
JOICO Blonde Life Hair Products*
When I was really young, I was a proper little blonde haired girl! As I grew up, it started getting darker and by about 7, I became a pretty non-descript “mousey brown”.
Over the years, my hair’s been black, red, blue, and pink. But in the last year or so, I’ve gone back to being blonde. And I have to say I’m absolutely loving it! I still have my brown roots though as I wanted more of a “natural” balayage look and it seems to suit my skin tone quite well!
Illamasqua Lip Lure Review
If you’re not aware, I used to be a bit of a goth back in the day. I’m talking full-length leather trench coat (which I still own), baggy jeans, corsets, band tees, velvet clothing, studded chokers and quite often white foundation and black lipstick. I loved the gothic fashion, the tattoos and piercings (and to be honest, I still do, I’m just not quite as full-on as I used to be); it was beautiful to me and I finally felt like I fitted in somewhere. I was free to love metal music and watch Buffy to my heart’s content and I found an amazing group of friends who were just like me and didn’t judge me on what I looked like.

Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Foundation Review
I hate buying foundation. Absolutely hate it. (Almost more than I hate buying jeans!) I either buy the wrong shade or tone or the wrong coverage and I’m left feeling frustrated.
A couple of months ago, I reached out to my Twitter followers to ask which foundation they’d recommend. Two foundations scored really highly; the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer in One and the Rainforest of the Sea Foundation from Tarte.

“You Time” With Clinique*
Last Thursday I had the pleasure of being invited to a Clinique event at Debenhams (in Brighton) for an evening of fun, food and trying out some of their new products.
Well, except I made a slight error as I thought the event was actually on the Thursday before that and dragged Áine with me all unnecessarily!! (Although we also had the Hollywood Bowl event that evening as well, so at least we didn’t leave the comfort of our warm houses for nothing!!)
Trying Out Blog Event Products | Part Two*
Back in November I wrote my first post about trying out some of the products from all the blogger goody bags I got last year! I figured it was a good way to actually remember to try all the lovely things I’d been given, rather than just keeping them in drawers out of the way!
