Seven Products For Summer Feet*

*Disclaimer* this post has no actual photos of feet!

I have to be honest, one of the things I hate most about the UK suddenly getting a few hot days is that everyone shoves on a pair sandals or flip-flops, despite having spent winter neglecting their feet 😬😬😬

I mean, I’m not saying my feet are by any means perfect; my toes are slightly bent, which sometimes causes them to rub on my shoes 🤢🤢 But I do try to keep them looking as fab as I possibly can!

Here are my top seven products to help my feet look their best:

File A Foot* (The Body Shop) – This is one of the best things to help my feet look and feel amazing! I use this before getting in the shower to buff away any dead skin and it’s two-sided for gentle or rough exfoliation!

Shower Pouffe (Ali Express) – This is for obviously using in the shower to clean my feet (I once actually heard someone say they didn’t think to wash their feet as they thought the water and shower gel running down cleaned them 🤢) I love my pouffe as it’s slightly abrasive so it helps to buff off any more dead skin still lurking on my feet. Bonus!

White Lily and Damask Rose Body Butter (Sanctuary) – I’ve been absolutely loving this body butter that Sharon sent me for Christmas last year. It smells amazing and it leaves my feet feeling really soft! Once I’m out of the shower and dried my feet, I rub this all over my feet and pop on a pair of socks for a couple of hours, which really helps the moisturiser sink in and leaves my feet smelling lovely!

Peppermint Intensive Cooling Foot Rescue* (The Body Shop) – As well as the Sanctuary moisturiser, I also use this amazing little product. It’s designed for days when your feet get ridiculously hot and you’ve been on your feet all day. It has a lovely cooling effect and is meant to be rubbed into feet at night to soothe and hydrate 🙂 It makes my feet feel refreshed and they smell lovely!

Nail buffer (Primark) – These are brilliant for making my nails look lovely. I generally just use the buffing side to prep my nails and create a smooth layer to be able to apply my nail varnish evenly! If I’m getting my feet out, I never wear them without varnish on!!

Nail hardener* (GOSH) – I love using brightly coloured nail varnish when the weather starts getting better; however, I tend to find that they stain my nails and leave them looking awful!! I use this underneath as a base and it not only helps my nails look fab once I remove the varnish, it also hardens my nails as well 😀

Nail varnishes (Asda and Leighton Denny*) – During the summer, I’m pretty much obsessed with these beauts from George at Asda (Sherbert Fizz and on the left and Buttercup Shine on the right) and Get Your Côte from Leighton Denny. I definitely feel like painted nails makes me feel like I’ve got my shit together!! Anyone else? Plus, painted nails look so much prettier than plain!

I’m loving the hot weather we’ve had recently so I’ve dug out my wedge sandals from Marks and Spencer that I got a couple of years ago. They’re so comfy and easy to walk in 😀

    1. Mine are usually awful by the time I get to spring, but I’ve been moisturising them for a few weeks now so they’re lovely and soft already! Wearing cotton socks after you moisturise definitely helps!!

  4. Love the look of the peppermint product, you have some fab ideas here! I tend to stick to French on my toes, saying that, I haven’t got round to it yet. It’s so easy to stick a pair of trainers on instead haha. I’m planning on getting a gel pedicure for my toes nails soon!
