Getting Organised With Personal Planner*

When I wrote my blog goals for 2017, I said that I wanted to stay more organised this year, as I found keeping a list of which posts were going out and when really helped me. (Yep, before I started writing them down I had absolutely no clue and often published loads of the same types of posts in a row. Which might work for some people but I love mixing my posts up a bit.)

And now luckily for me, I’ve now got my very own personal planner to help me out so I can stay organised πŸ™‚ I absolutely love it because I was able to customise all the details; even down to the colour of the elastic holder!

The website is really easy to use and it guides you through every single step. You start off by choosing the size of the planner you want; I went for their square one but you can get mini ones or even a large A4 sized one! I guess it depends if you’re planning to carry it around with you or keep it at home.

Once I’d chosen my preferred size, it was time to choose the front/back cover. Although there’s the option to have a photo, and I could have gone for one of my blog pics, I chose one of their own picture designs and I think it’s so cute! I’m not usually a fan of pink but I thought the combo looked so pretty. I also added the “let’s do this” tagline at the bottom to remind myself that I want to be really organised and focused on my blogging this year.

I also got to customise the main diary of my planner by choosing how I wanted each day to look; I went for blank spaces with some lines at the bottom of each day so I could write whatever I wanted in each day.

As you can see, I write which blog posts are going up on which day, so Friday last week was a Lush Haul post!

At the bottom of the page I went for a to-do list with tick boxes because I love Β to-do lists and tick boxes!

I decided against having any times on my planner as I’m not generally that busy during the day so I didn’t think it would be worthwhile for me. But it’s a great option for anyone who has a busy schedule.

There are various different options for the back section as well and I went for an address book and some blank pages. The other suggestions included a colouring book, maps, Sudoku and sheets of music!

I love the little details next to certain dates, like a pumpkin for Hallowe’en and a little Christmas tree on December 25th! And I even got a little pack of stickers with the planner that I can put next to certain dates β™₯

Prices start from Β£18.90 and they offer free delivery. Mine turned up around 10 days after I placed an order which I think is pretty reasonable considering how much detail has gone into it.Β (Although they can take from 2-3 weeks)

  1. It looks so adorable!! Love the design of the pages & that is such a cool size too! πŸ™‚
I have a blog planner for my every day to-dos plus my Excel spreadsheets for an actual “editorial calendar” (I know, sounds fancy, but it’s just a simple posting calendar to keep me more or less organised). I tried bullet journaling. I can’t seem to stick to the whole structure lol + there’s sooo much work that goes into organising it haha. Who has the time πŸ˜€

    1. It’s lovely isn’t it? I’m only just starting to use a planner and before I didn’t even make any plans. I used to get so confused lol

  2. I love this planner and the layout you’ve gone for, I’m more likely to use something that’s been done to how I’d like it, so many have pages I just won’t bother filling in. And the colour pink us adorable! I much prefer to write things down than to use a planner on my phone.

  3. Oh so pretty! I do love a good planner. This looks nice and clean, with plenty of space for getting organised. I’m trying to use a bullet journal at the minute, lots of tweaking going on…I may have to try this layout!

      1. I’ve just tried so many planners and they’ve never quite fitted. It’s kinda fun figuring out a layout that works. I’ll probably get the hang of it in a few months lol
