*includes gifted PR products* I recently got to go back to the Harry Potter studio tour and this time I took my mum along with me π I’ve been a couple of times before but my mum’s never been so I decided to treat her for her birthday!!
While we were there, I also gave her a quick crash course on photography so I could get some outfit of the day photos! I think she did really well!! (Apart from a couple of blurry photos and all the ones of me with my eyes closed ππ)
I was going to wear my denim jacket, but as the weather suddenly dropped, I wore my gorgeous Joe Brown’s coat instead. Unfortunately they don’t seem to have it in stock anymore π I adore this coat, the buttons are all different and the way the coat is cut is certainly different π€ I also wore my trusty green beetle bag from Primark (subtly representing Slytherin!!)
Here I am in Diagon Alley in front of Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment, waiting for them to open back up after Death Eaters were spotted in the area π²π²
I knew I had to wear one of my Harry Potter tops so I opted for my distressed Hogwarts crest t-shirt that I bought from Truffle Shuffle for my birthday. I love that it’s not too obviously Harry Potter because the crest is pretty distressed and light. I bought this in a men’s medium for Β£5.99! It’s not available any more but, if you love Harry Potter, I’d definitely recommend checking Truffle Shuffle out as they have loads of amazing items!
I’m in my happy place; the potion’s classroom in the dungeons!
I didn’t want to wear a hoody with my outfit because both the ones I own are quite bulky (one is a white one, which wouldn’t go at all) and I knew I’d end up feeling super hot, so I teamed my top with another pair of Wingz* instead! These are the plain long-sleeved version and were perfect for wearing under my t-shirt to add a bit of warmth and coverage without making me feel overheated. The Wingz sit perfectly flat underneath without compromising the fit of the t-shirt.
My mum even said she’s going to look into buying a pair now!!
This was the perfect outfit to hang out in Malfoy Manor, watching the Death Eaters and Voldemort having a meeting π€π€
I was really torn between my black skinny jeans from H&M because they’d go with the outfit better or my super comfy (but a bit too baggy) dark blue jeans that I recently found in my wardrobe from Next! In the end, fashion won out and I went for my black skinny jeans. I’m glad I did because they definitely complement the outfit better π€
No YOU’RE hanging out at Thomas Riddle’s grave like a goth!!
I wore a pair of Harry Potter socks that I got as a three pack from Primark for Β£3 which isn’t too bad! These ones have a gold lightning bolt and stars on them β‘β‘β‘
I also wore my Harry Potter marauder’s map shoes from Primark. I love that they’re not too obvious unless you really look closely! I did have to change the laces though as the ones they came with were way too short which made them super uncomfortable βΉοΈ Luckily, once I had the new laces in, I could loosen them a lot more, making them really comfortable to wear walking round all day!
I don’t know whether Primark still sell these as they’re not in my local store but it’s possible they’re available in the larger London stores! By the way, this is actually a wall. Yup, I shoved my foot on the wall to get this pic ππ
Finally I finished off my outfit with a silver time turner π€ I have to admit that I bought this on eBay for about Β£1.50 so it’s not a genuine one but I like it all the same and didn’t want to fork out about Β£46 for the licensed one ππ
Do you have any Harry Potter wearables? Have you been to the studio tour? Let me know in the comments below π x

The Harry Potter tour would be so fun! I love how into Harry Potter you are π Iβm sure Iβve mentioned this before but I love your braids too!
It’s definitely fun and very much worth it, there’s always something new to see!
Awwww thank you, they’re my go-to hairstyle ππ
I love that your outfit has lots of nods to Harry Potter while still looking cute and being comfy! I don’t blame you for choosing an eBay time turner dupe, I bet nobody can tell the difference.
Thank you, yeah comfort is my main theme of life!! And you’re right, no one can unless they look super closely! π
Adorable outfit! I especially love the shoes because I had no clue they were Harry Potter until you showed them up close.
Thank you π Yeah, I love how subtle they are. I have another pair too that have the house animals on, but you wouldn’t know unless you got close!
I love this post – you’re definitely rocking the casual Slytherin style!
I have wayyyyy too many Harry Potter clothes, but my absolute fave is my Ron Weasley jumper (also a Primark find!). I’ve also been the studio tour way too many times according to my savings account, but it’s just so addictive… currently planning my seventh trip for next Spring! π
Sarah xx
Thank you very much, kind of you to say π
Oooooooh, I keep seeing that around, it’s so soft!! Oh wow, you sound like the perfect person to go with!! xx
This is an adorable outfit. My boyfriend is a huge Harry Potter fan so he has a time turner necklace but his is from eBay too!
Thank you π eBay is brilliant for things like that!!
