Outfit Of The Day #12 | The “I’m A Celebrity” Boots*

If you’re an I’m a Celeb fan, you’ll know that the new series is starting this Sunday (17th Nov).

In preparation for series 19 (yes, it’s really been on for 19 years!!) I teamed up with Go Outdoors who are selling the actual boots worn by the celebs in the jungle this year, although thankfully my ones were sent brand new and hadn’t been worn for weeks on end 😂😂

The boots are by Hi-Tec and are their Eurotrek Lite edition. They’re incredibly comfy, feel really soft inside but are sturdy and durable on the outside. The inner sole is cushioned for maximum comfort whilst walking and the tongue is gusseted to prevent your socks and feet getting wet, plus it also stops dirt and sand getting in too!!

The mens and womens boots are both a dark chocolate colour which is fab for hiding the mud marks!! The boots are made with leather uppers and have a waterproof lining. The grippy rubber soles are perfect for walking through mud and over difficult terrain.

Whilst I was tempted to pair my boots with the traditional celebrity jungle look, because I’m sure I’d look amazing in the red fleece with the khaki shirt and shorts combo, I suddenly remembered how amazingly chic Holly Willoughby looked while presenting last year, so I thought I’d do my own take on her style!

First up is a casual tee, corduroy skirt and hiking boots combo and yes, my legs really are that super pale lol

The tee is a slouched t-shirt from Brighton Apparel, a Brighton-based company who make the cutest tees with different Brighton-themed designs on. I love that it’s casual and comfy, plus it’s organic cotton, which is perfect for keeping cool in the jungle. This is a women’s size small (item previously gifted).

The black corduroy skirt is from Matalan  and love the feel of it, it’s so soft. The skirt is easy to wear and goes with pretty much everything, I love the buttons down the front 🙂 It also comes with pockets which is handy for storing your insect repellent and portable fan! I got this in a size 12 but could have probably gone down to a 10.

I also “borrowed” one of J’s chequered shirts (from George at Asda) to tie round my waist to complete the look. I love this casual style with the boots 😀

My second outfit choice is this gorgeous tiered zebra dress which is also from Matalan. I got mine in a size 10 but it’s pretty tight going over my head; however, once it’s on, the fit is fine! I love the material, it’s so soft, almost like velvet 🙂

The dress is quite a loose style so I teamed it with this black belt from Next to help cinch in the waist a little bit 🙂 I thought the dress print worked so well for a jungle-inspired look and it goes perfectly with the boots 🙂

The women’s boots come in sizes 4-8 and the men’s in sizes 10-12. The boots cost £55 and come with free delivery. I went for a size 7 and they fit absolutely perfectly!!

I just want to say a massive thank you to Go Outdoors for sending me the boots and to my lovely boyfriend, J, who took the photos and had to wait around while I changed outfits ❤️❤️

  1. I think the last time I watched ‘I’m a celebrity’ was when Dougie from Mcfly won it! 🙈 So while I don’t recognise these boots, I do love the look of them. They’re really comfy looking! The laid back white tee and skirt is a great outfit to pair them with, and you can never go wrong with an animal print for jungle vibes either, I wish I had your sense of style.

    1. Ah we didn’t watch it back then! They’re so comfy, I love them and thank you 🙂 I don’t feel like I have a sense of style lol

  2. The boots look really comfy, are they waterproof too? I love the look you went for – I’ve been looking for a skirt like that for a while too, did you buy it recently?
