My Review Of The Health Box from Wellbox*

It’s fair to say that life hasn’t really been the same since the end of March 2020. There have been highs, lows and everything in-between!

One thing I’ve really loved is sending (and receiving) little gifts to family and friends to let them know I’m thinking of them and trying to put smiles on their faces through the various lockdowns!

I was recently contacted by Wellbox and their website is perfect for sending little care packages through the post! You can choose between food and drink gift boxes, drink and cocktail gifts, health and mental wellbeing gifts or healthy snack box gifts.

Each category contains different care package options depending on your budget, and they offer free UK delivery πŸ™‚ Plus, all the food care packages include 1 meal donated to a local person in need through Wellbox’s charity partners!!

I was sent one of their health and mental wellbeing gifts; the Relax box, to check out. All the boxes in this category come with a Β£1 donation to MIND. The Relax box (Β£22.95 + vat) includes 8 items to help you relax after a hard day.

This is what I got in my box:

A Shearer tin candle in Orange Pomander. I absolutely love citrus scents so this candle is perfect for me, plus it has 20 hours burn time so it’ll last for a while πŸ™‚ I can’t wait to light this tonight!!

A little packet of ShΓΊzen raw nourishing bath crystals (70g). These bath crystals are vegan and cruelty-free, and they also contain over 80 natural minerals! Plus the crystals don’t contain any oils or chemicals. I currently can’t use our bath but we’re hoping to get it sorted soon, so I can’t wait to try these crystals out!

A foot and body care scrub pad from Safix. This little pad is made from natural coconut fiber, lasts for several months and uses less soap with more suds! It says it’s safe to use on hands, it lightly exfoliates and removes residual impurities. The pad is also biodegradable and compostable too! It feels really soft and gentle on my skin and has been great at exfoliating those harder skin areas, like my knees, elbows and feet πŸ™‚

A calming lavender and geranium pillow spray. I love a good pillow spray and I love that this one is has a more subtle scent to it, rather than being overpowering. I love the size because it fits easily in my bedside drawer and it’s the perfect travel sized bottle too!

A natural and organic lip balm from Booming Bob in Pomegranate. It’s an incredibly moisturising lip balm (because it contains vitamin E) and the pomegranate flavour is really delicious!

2 Teapigs teabags. I received an everyday brew and a chai tea. Although I don’t drink that much tea, I often like an afternoon cup if I wanted to feel relaxed so I can’t wait to try these out πŸ™‚

A little (22g) bag of 70% Dark Belgian Chocolate from I Love Snacks. I really love dark chocolate so I was very happy to see this! The chocolate is crafted in Belgium and it’s vegan, gluten free and halal. It tasted absolutely divine!!

An inspirational affirmation card. I got this super cute A5 “you are amazing don’t ever forget that” card. I really liked this touch and it’s the perfect size for popping in a frame or sticking up on a wall somewhere!!

I really love how well-thought out this box was and the range of products that were included! If you’re looking for a care package to send a friend, relative or even a work colleague, I’d definitely recommend checking Wellbox out πŸ™‚

Have you given or received a care package recently? What did yours include? Let me know in the comments below πŸ™‚ x

*This care package was kindly sent to me but views, and love of relaxing, are my own.

  1. Oh wow what a box, looks like you got yourself a right treat there!! I want it all but bigger. Shame there were no gifts for your cat haha. Maybe that could be your dragons den moment….gift boxes for the whole family and the pets. Maybe not the goldfish though. He is a tosser

    1. Yeah it was such a lovely treat box πŸ™‚ Lol, I think there are companies that do pet boxes with treats for the humans as well, but not for that goldfish though!

  2. This looks great!

I gave a friend a care package for her birthday back in February as I knew she had been struggling and she loved it. I got it from Blurt Foundation.

  3. These gift boxes seem like a nice idea, they’d make for a good gift for my partner but not for me, do they have boxes that are more geared to those who identify as male and don’t normally use the above self-care kinds of gifts?

    1. They do indeed have health and mental wellbeing boxes for people who identify as male, plus all the food/drink boxes are ungendered πŸ™‚

  4. Love the idea behind this box! Mostly after the last year it’s an amazing idea to give a small gifts to your friends and family! Love the sounds of the candle and bath crystals x
