My Hectic Life*

I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes my life feels pretty full on, although it often feels like I’m barely doing anything!

Generally I get up at 7.40 and I’ll be out of the house by about 8.15. I eat my breakfast and have a coffee at work, because there’s no way I’m going to get up any earlier so I can do that at home. Nope. I love my bed way too much! That’s actually J’s side of the bed, but his looks a lot less cluttered than mine 😛

I leave work at 5, but generally don’t get home until 6ish. Thanks Brighton and Hove bus service. You are definitely not the one.

Once I’m home, I’m usually blogging, scheduling tweets or editing photos. Oh, and making dinner, making breakfast for the next day, making pitiful attempts to tidy and clean the house, playing with Bear and trying to spend time with J as well! It’s never-ending. Once all that’s done, I finally get jump in the shower.

My showers are usually rushed affairs and I’ve pretty much got the whole process down to under 10 minutes now; including washing and conditioning my hair!! I never have time to moisturise afterwards though, because I just want to get straight into my PJs and crawl into my bed. I know that moisturising is pretty important though especially because I have really dry skin 🙁 (and the only flakes I want are in my ice creams, thanks very much!) So for the past month or so, I’ve been using Dr Do Good* to help me.

Dr Do Good is an in-shower moisturiser. Once you’ve done all your necessary cleaning, you simply shake the bottle, spray it all over your body and rinse it off.

It’s made from completely organic, natural ingredients and this is what their website says it contains:

  • Tomato extract – to help protect against premature skin ageing.
  • Carrot extract – nourishes the skin and helps to maintain firmness and elasticity, resulting in younger looking skin.
  • Yellow Peppers – a key component in the production of collagen, which keeps the skin looking firm and youthful.
  • Broccoli extract – combats tired looking skin while stimulating skin cells to defend themselves against the rigour of a workout.
  • Aubergine extract – an essential nutrient supply for the skin, helping to keep your skin looking healthy and hydrated.

And despite all the veg packed into it, to me it smells faintly of lemons, which I absolutely love. It’s really been helping to keep my skin hydrated so I can save time not having to moisturise after my shower and wait until it dries before getting into bed! If you’re interested in knowing more, then Dr Do Good can be purchased through their website or on Amazon.

  1. I wish I could get out the door in 25 minutes! I’m really not a morning person until I’ve had coffee, tea and breakfast. I like the sound of an in shower moisteriser that actually works on dry skin. This one sounds delicious 🙂

  2. Love the ‘views and laziness are my own’ part, although I’d definitely say you aren’t lazy. 🙂

I’m definitely thinking of trying it out. Moisturising after showering is such a pain. I know I should, but actually getting round to it… I have more important things to do with my time.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I love anything that makes my life easier!
I know, I always forget afterwards because I’m all about that pyjama life 😀
