Liq C Serums Review*

Before I got into blogging, I honestly had no idea that serums were even a thing. I bought my first one last year and, although I’d heard loads of bloggers talking about them and saying how great they were, I didn’t really have a clue what their purpose was or when and how to apply them. Luckily through reading loads of my favourite blogs I soon learnt everything I ever needed to know 🙂

My current faves are these gorgeous little serums from Liq C; the light and night.

The Liq CC Light serum contains 15% Vitamin C which helps to even out the skin tone. It also regenerates and nourishes the skin as well. I use this one every morning after I’ve cleansed and toned but under my moisturiser.

The Liq CG Night Glycolic Peel Serum contains 7% Glycolic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid. This formula aims to soothe irritation, hydrate and firm the skin. A word of warning though, if you have any cuts or spots on your face, it will sting like a bitch! It’s not exactly unbearable, and only lasts for a few seconds, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I’ve been using both of these for the last two months now and I’ve definitely noticed my face is looking smoother and feels a lot softer. I’ve also got ridiculously sensitive skin and I’ve had no reactions to either of the serums so far! Winner. I really love the pipette idea, because it’s much easier than trying to pour some out into your hand, getting way too much and trying to unsucessfully pour it back into the bottle!

All the Liq C products are fragrance-free and haven’t been tested on animals. The serums are a great consistency; they aren’t too runny or goopy. They’re also really easy to apply 🙂 They dry fast so if you don’t have a lot of time in the mornings or evenings, you don’t have to wait for ages to be able to put your moisturiser on!

What’s your favourite serum? Let me know in the comments below 🙂 x

  1. Fantastic post, I also had no idea that the serums existed, bought it 2 months ago and my skin just loves it! Great value for the money. Thanks for your recommendation!

  2. Hi, I bought this serum (Vit.C Light) when I was in Poland, it was recommended by dermatologist in an article. I saw the difference after first use. It’s just finished, so I have to buy another one or maybe with vitamin E. I like my glowing, healthy skin after this product. It was one of the product that inspired me to open my own shop an I will definitely will place it with other fab cosmetics.
