Finding Time To Relax*

Working a full-on 9 to 5 job and then going home to make dinner, do some housework and try to find some time to blog as well, it’s sometimes really hard to switch off and have some me time.

But now I have some beautiful products to help me wind down in the evenings and they just help to make life that little bit easier 🙂

These Vanilla Rose bath salts are made for relaxing and unwinding!  I love the really basic packaging and although it might not look like much, omg, the salts smell absolutely divine!!  This packet contains three different kinds of salts; Dead Sea (for softening and soothing dry skin), Himalayan (for repairing damaged skin) and Epsom (for relieving tired and achy muscles).  The mix also contains coconut oil which left my skin feeling super soft and nourished, vanilla and Ylang Ylang essential oils which helps to relax the mind and body.

Vanilla Rose makes relaxing in the bath so easy and, rather than taking my phone in with me, I generally tend to take a book so I can truly relax for a while.  I’m currently reading My Not-So Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella!

This product is perfect for using on a Friday evening after a long week at work 🙂

The Eucalyptus Rosemary bath salts are perfect for soothing aching and painful muscles!  As with the Vanilla Rose bath salts, these also contain Dead Sea, Himalayan and Epsom salts, but it also contains eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender essential oils which have anti-inflammatory properties to ease muscular pains!

The Eucalyptus Rosemary bath salts are ideal for me to use after I’ve mowed the lawn because we have a sloped lawn and my muscles always hurt afterwards! They’re also fab to use after a heavy pole session 😀

The travel packs are 100g and cost £5 each.  I usually like to use a lot of bath salts in my baths, so I found I had to cut down a bit to eke the product out!  Luckily, using less product doesn’t diminish the effects or the fragrance 🙂

Then there’s the Sleepyhead relaxing pillow mist which contains lavender, chamomile and frankincense.  You can spray a little on your pillow, duvet cover and/or into the air to help you relax for a good night’s sleep.  I don’t use too much though as I find too much scent actually stimulates my brain and I can’t sleep. I’ve found spraying a little bit across my pillow a couple of hours before going to bed is the best way for me to use this product. That way, it still relaxes me but the smell isn’t too over-powering 🙂

It’s a really lovely fragrance and definitely helps me drift off into sleep ♥

The Happy Atmosphere mist is designed to exhilarate, excite and leaving you in a state of happiness 😀  I absolutely love this mist as it has citrus oils and we all know I’m a lover of citrus scents.  The mist also has lime, clementine and basil essential oils. The lime not only uplifts and refreshes but helps alleviates anxiety and depression.  The clementine enhances metal clarity and boots your mood and the basil energises and helps relieve stress.

I love spraying this mist in the morning to help wake me up and keep me feeling up-lifted and happy!  It’s also fab for spraying after a stressful day at work 😀

Both mists are £12 each for 100ml which isn’t too bad as I can see they’re going to last for a long while, although postage is a flat fee of £3 which does bump the price up a lot if you’re only buying one item!
