Before we got our bookcases, I wasn’t able to have scented candles or wax melts burning away, mostly because we only had low surfaces (like our coffee table) and inevitably, Mr Bear would come along and stick his face right in the wax or the flame!!
Now I have high shelves that he can’t reach, I’m all over that wax melt life because I know he can’t get to them!
I’m absolutely loving Whiffy Wax (yes, you absolutely read that correctly!) and their incredible range of melts and room sprays at the moment; my house is smelling so divine and a bit like an old-fashioned sweet shop! 😀
The clamshell melts (£5 for 70g) have 9 segments that burn up to 8 hours each, that’s about 72 hours of total burn time!!
Happy is a gorgeous sweet fragrance with scents of fruit tea (it smells a bit like a berry tea to me) and sherbet! I’m an absolute sucker for all things citrus so I knew I was definitely going to love the smell of this one. This is such a light summer fragrance that I’m definitely going to be using it over the next couple of months 😀 This melt is from their new limited summer collection and I think it’s my absolute favourite of them all. I’m currently eyeing up Beach Bum and Rock Chick from the summer collection to add to my stash!
The mini melts (£1 for 1oz) give up to 12 hours of fragrance for your home.
Coco is one of their perfume dupes, although I’ve not smelt the original before to compare. It’s meant to be a very feminine fragrance with notes of peach, mandarin orange and jasmine, but if I’m being honest, it smells like scented toilet bleach to me 🙊🙊 It’s a bit too musky for my liking, but I guess it could be good to melt in the bathroom? Coco is a very pale yellow colour 🙂
Flower Bomb is another designer perfume dupe with top notes of mandarin and orange and a middle note of sambac jasmine. It’s a really sweet, light fragrance and I love the pastel pink tone to the melt. The jasmine smells really uplifting; this is definitely one of my favourites 😀
Northern Lights is a gorgeous mint green melt, but unfortunately I can’t seem to find it on their website; although I think it might be called Northern Night Sky now. If it is that one, then it’s describes it as a musky citrus scent. I’d definitely have to agree, it’s a lot muskier than Happy or Lemon Sherbet. I’m more of a lighter fragrance fan, but I can see this being a cosy smell for winter 🙂
The mega melts (£1.50 for 2oz) give up to 24 hours of fragrance.
Gumball is exactly as you’d expect, it smells like sweets; well, more specifically bubblegum!! I adore this fragrance because it just makes me happy every time I smell it! I also want to eat it because it smells so delicious (don’t eat it, it’s not a food!!) I love that it’s pale pink too 😀 This is definitely another of my favourites!!
Shanghai blossom is another gorgeous musky flower fragrance; this time with heart notes of lily, jasmine and tuberose. It definitely smells like a spring/summer fragrance to me and, again, it’s a pretty pink melt ❤️🌺
Lemon sherbet unsurprisingly smells exactly like sherbet lemons and it makes me think of Dumbledore sat in his office every time I get a whiff!! This one is a very strong fragrance; there’s no subtlety about it at all and I adore it so much!! 🍋🍋🍋🍋
The room sprays (£6 for 115g) are designed to leave your home smelling “WHIFFING MARVELLOUS” but are not for use on clothes, skin or pets!!
Although I wasn’t entirely sure about the name Filthy room spray, as it makes me think that I’m spraying the room with something dirty, as opposed to spraying the filthy room with something lovely, I’m entirely sure about the spray!! It has spearmint, parsley and tarragon in it and has left our kitchen and toilet smelling absolutely delightful!! Our kitchen gets really hot so the bin has been smelling a bit in the heat, but a couple of squirts directly into the bin and the smell permanently disappears!! I love that it’s a squirty bottle and not an aerosol and it doesn’t scream “room odouriser”!!
