When the lovely Fliss at Fresh Naturals got in touch to offer me a couple of her sample products, I thought she was going to send just that. One, maybe two things. Instead she sent a whole array and I’ve been spending the last six weeks trying everything out. And I still have loads left!
Despite being 31, and 3 days off 32, I don’t really think of myself as a particularly adulty adult; however, there are moments in my day when I suddenly realise that yep, I’m a bona fide adult. Hehe, bona. Yeah, sometimes I’m definitely not an adult…
If you didn’t know, seriously where have you been because I put it absolutely everywhere, I was shortlisted for the Social Media Hero Award at the recent Thirty Plus awards! I decided I was going to head up there for the ceremony, and who better to take with me for moral support and all the craic but fellow thirty plus blogger, Aine. Yeah. Her. Again.
I love flowers, they’re just so happy. You know what I mean, right? We don’t have fresh flowers enough in our house and that’s something I want to try and change this year.
Two weeks ago I met up with the brilliant Aine (Honestly Aine) in London and we made our way to the Danubis Hotel in Regent’s Park for the Big Blogger Expo 2016. (Although we obviously stopped at 221B Baker Street too, because it would be rude not to!)
The Big Blogger Expo was set up by Lauren from Blonde Vision (who also runs Ldnmeetup) and it’s a great way to network with brands and bloggers.
Now I’ve been blogging for a whole year (well a year tomorrow but I’m impatient), I thought I’d host a bit of a giveaway to say thank you for supporting me and reading my blog 🙂 ♥
Holy crap, July is over already. I’m okay with that though as August is going to be a massive month for me; it’s my birthday, my blog birthday AND it’s The Girl Gang Event as well. WHOOP WHOOP!! It’s also the first time in absolutely ages that I’ve remembered to do a monthly favourites, so big high five for me 😀
Nestled in the heart of Duke Street in Brighton is, if I’m being completely honest, a place I’d never paid much attention to before; No32. It always used to look pretty daunting and I thought it would be ridiculously expensive, so when Yelp Brighton invited me to their burger event, I went down to see if they could change my mind about the place.
Last Friday the sun was out and by the time I got home after work, it was still really warm so we dragged the patio furniture out and chilled out in the garden with some Prosecco from Premier Estates Wine. They were at the Blogosphere Cover Reveal Party and got in touch after the event to see if I wanted to try some more of their wine ♥ Yes, I believe I absolutely did thank you very much!
I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes my life feels pretty full on, although it often feels like I’m barely doing anything!
