Creating Space At Home*

Last week I wrote a post about staying safe while doing DIY round the house (you can read it here if you missed it), this week I wanted to chat about some really easy DIY projects you can do round the home.

At the moment we have several issues with trying to make our house look homely (in my eyes anyway):

Staying Safe Doing DIY*

If you read my blog a lot, you might have seen I wrote a post recently about some of the home goals I want to achieve this year (if you’re new to the blog, then hi, and you can catch up here). I’m looking forward to getting started on the projects I have (you know, once the weather gets better); except for one major flaw in my plan. I’m so clumsy. And until I moved in with J, I wasn’t particularly savvy at staying safe while attempting DIY projects! But he’s taught me a hell of a lot in the last three years.

Outfit Of The Day #5 | H&M And A Dark Lip

It’s been absolutely ages since I went and bought myself lots of new clothes. Partly because I’ve never really liked shopping (as I never know what size I’ll be in any given shop) and partly because I seem to have been losing a bit of weight recently (yay for pole fitness and my new hobby; hula hooping!) and I didn’t want to have to buy even more clothes in a couple of months’ time.

But while in Brighton a few weeks ago I popped into H&M and picked up a few bits! I was a bit disappointed that I couldn’t get any of the jeans I wanted in store, so I had a look on their website and while they were having a 10% off and free delivery week, I picked up my first two pairs of skinny jeans! OMG!

Why Bloggers Make The Best Friends

You know sometimes when you’re sitting with your regular friends, you start talking about blogging and they just don’t get it? And although I love my friends, I’ve come to realise that there are so many awesome reasons to have other bloggers as friends. So I thought I’d share my list about why I think bloggers make the best friends (apart from a few of my closest non-blogger friends of course!)

Instagram Pet Peeves

Last month I wrote a post about my Twitter pet peeves (you can catch up here if you’ve not read it yet). It seemed to be a really popular post and loads of you were in agreement (luckily, else I could have been banished from Twitter forever!! #overexaggeration.)

A few people mentioned that there were loads of irritating things about Instagram as well, so I thought I’d do a post about that!

The Blogosphere Magazine

After I posted a pic of the Blogosphere Magazine on my Insta page recently, I got several comments from people who either hadn’t read it or hadn’t heard of it, so I really wanted to write a post all about the mag and why it’s such an important publication to be a part of.

Home Goals 2017

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that I’ve been living with J for almost 3 years now. A medal for him for putting up with me. And Bear, who destroys the occasional home furnishing.

In that time we’ve done a few bits to the house such as; putting the heating and flooring down in the dining room so we could use it, moved some furniture around and bought new sofas and bedside tables.

Things To Do In East Sussex | Drusillas Park

This year, I really want to start taking advantage of local attractions in and around East Sussex. When I was 14 and my family moved to the Isle of Wight, me and my mum spent every Saturday checking out all the fun things to do (while my dad was at football training). When I moved to Brighton just over 5 years ago, I didn’t really have the funds or time to explore 🙁  But now I have both, I want to start seeing what’s on offer and sharing it with you, so that if you’re planning a trip to East Sussex, you can see what’s around!
