Just before Brighton Pride last year, I was contacted by Naked Dough, a London-based raw cookie dough company, to see if I wanted to head down and try out some of their new raw cookie dough pots, because they were going to have a stand at the park. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend, so they very kindly sent me some of their products (which by the way, were absolutely amazing).
A Chatty Catch-Up | February 2019
For the shortest month of the year, it dragged almost as much as January did; although at least we had the added benefit of some glorious sunshine towards the end!!
Valentine’s Day With Sparkling Direct*
It’s been a while since J and I really bothered with Valentine’s Day. When we first got together he surprised me with a trip to Disneyland Paris (which I’ve written about here) but it sort of all went downhill from there really! I think he peaked too soon and set an impossible standard to match up to 😂😂
The year after, I received some beautiful potted roses and we’ve also done the obligatory box of chocolates but after that, it pretty much dwindled down to getting a takeaway so I didn’t have to cook!!
A Chatty Catch-Up | January 2019
Whoop whoop, it’s the first catch-up post of the new year and it’s only 5 days late!! Don’t expect too much though, I’ve not exactly been busy this month. I think January is definitely the month to be hibernating and take it easy 😂😂
Food Shopping Organisation
I’m ridiculously proud about my organisation skills when it comes to doing the weekly food shop. I recently shared how I do it with a couple of my friends and they were pretty impressed by it, so I thought I’d share it with you guys to see if it could help you too!
A Chatty Catch-Up | December 2018
Well, it’s now 2019 and I’ve just got round to writing my December catch-up for 2018, oops!
I’m definitely excited to see the back of 2018 and get on with 2019; not in the least because I have three tattoo sessions booked in for the next three months 😊😊
A Very Festive Hamper From Jet2holidays*
If I’m being completely honest, I haven’t really felt festive at all this year. So far, I’ve watched 0 Christmas films, made 0 eggnogs, decorated 0 Christmas trees and sung at the top of my voice in the car to 0 Christmas songs. I’m not exactly Scrooge but it’s been really hard to get into the swing of it this year.
The Queensbury Coffee House | Hove*
Recently Sammy, Mr Biscuit (her gorgeous miniature Daschund puppy) and I headed to Barker and Stonehouse in Hove on a rainy Saturday afternoon for a mooch around, a long over-due catch-up and to check out their new coffee house (situated upstairs at the back).
La Cave A Fromage | Hove*
La Cave a Fromage is somewhere I’ve been past on the bus many times and have always wanted to go in and try. Recently, I finally got my wish and I headed there with my lovely friend Tania for their fondue night and a long over-due catch-up!
The Canna Kitchen | Brighton*
A few weeks ago, a super intriguing email landed in my inbox that completely piqued my attention!
I was asked if I wanted to attend the launch of The Canna Kitchen, the UK’s First Cannabis Infused Restaurant, and, obviously, I absolutely had to go and try it out for myself!
