Sometimes life works out pretty great, doesn’t it? I met one of my oldest best friends, Charlie, on my first day at a new school (aged 14). We used to live really near each other and walked to school together most days.
When we were 16, she moved away, but we still kept in touch, writing letters to each other 🙂 She recently moved back to England, finding a place in London, which is the closest we’ve lived to each other for years!!
I cannot believe we’re about to enter June!! The days and months seem to be going super fast now. I’m definitely looking forward to summer, but I’d very much like it to slow down now please!!
Ages ago, Alice and I decided that we really needed to meet up this year and, as Portsmouth wasn’t too far for either of us to head to, we decided to meet up there. Alice was then invited to try out The Cosy Club for lunch in Portsmouth and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to have a catch up!
Last weekend, I headed to the Brighton Cookery School (on London Road) to hang out with Ben from Mob Kitchen and loads of other foodies to “cook” two incredibly simple vegan recipes!
Well, what a weird month that was! We had some lovely sunshine over a glorious bank holiday, then we had high winds. We also found out that J has severe sleep apnoea
I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging, but ever since we got a rather large screen TV a couple of years ago, film nights in our house have been pretty awesome! We also have surround sound as well for that real “cinema experience”.
The only thing we’ve lacked is some good old snacks!
March has seemed incredibly long and pretty cold (apart from Friday and Saturday last week)!! I’m more than a little excited for April because I’m hoping the weather will start improving and we’ll get some warm sunshine 🙂
Back in 2017, I posted a list of blog post ideas to help bloggers who might be struggling with inspiration on what to write! I’m back with 40 more blog post ideas to hopefully to help and inspire you if you’re not really feeling it!
Just before Brighton Pride last year, I was contacted by Naked Dough, a London-based raw cookie dough company, to see if I wanted to head down and try out some of their new raw cookie dough pots, because they were going to have a stand at the park. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend, so they very kindly sent me some of their products (which by the way, were absolutely amazing).
For the shortest month of the year, it dragged almost as much as January did; although at least we had the added benefit of some glorious sunshine towards the end!!
