So remember back in January and I posted my first outfit of the day post and I said it probably wouldn’t become a regular feature? Well today I’m having a good body image day so to celebrate, I’m sharing another outfit of the day. Because who knows when I’ll feel this good about my wobbly tum and slightly too large thighs again?
I’ve just got home, I’m tired and hungry but I’m also really excited! Why? Because I’ve just spent time with the lovely Ellisha (SM Manager) and Emma (Visual Merchandising Manager) from Re:So ‘the first fully student-operated retail initiative’. In essence, the store is not only run and marketed solely by the students at Solent University in Southampton, but they also make and design all the products that are showcased in store!
So why am I writing this post and not chilling on the sofa stuffing my face with salmon and lemony, buttery, garlicy sauce? Because they’re only in Brighton until Sunday and honestly guys, you’ve gotta check them out!
That’s the eternal question isn’t it? And actually I have no idea to be honest, is butter a carb? Who knows, who cares, because look how fetch my new print from Coconut Lane is! (Okay, I totally lied, I do care because no, it’s not actually a carb. And I should definitely stop trying to make fetch happen! ~ This will only make sense for any Mean Girl fans out there!)
I’m pretty sure that fashion posts and outfits of the day won’t be a regular feature on my blog. I have no idea about what looks good, what shape I am and which colours go together well, but I absolutely love my new coat and wanted to share how pretty it is with you all!! 🙂
I honestly can’t believe I’m writing this post already! It only seems like yesterday that I was writing my favourites list for September, the last part of this year has gone by so fast.
Well, it’s a thoroughly miserable October afternoon, I’ve got the heating on and I’m half watching CSI. Thinking about all the things I’ve loved this month makes me feel decidedly more cheery though, so I’m sharing my favourites with you 🙂
I find this to usually be quite an ordeal. I’m not good at describing what I want and the poor hairdresser is usually unable to guess correctly what I’m trying to ask for. This has led to wanting the iconic “Rachel” haircut in 1998 and getting what I can only describe as long, poofy curtains with the underneath being longer than the top. There is evidence. No, I’m not sharing it. 😀
