My Five Favourite Easy Hairstyles*

There’s nothing worse in the summer than making an effort with your hair, only for the weather to play havoc with your locks. My hair used to go a bit Monica in the humidity, but now I find it just goes limp and lifeless, I wonder if that happens as you get older? 🙁

To stop my hair from looking boring and flat this summer, I’ve been using the John Frieda Luxurious Volume shampoo, Luxurious Volume conditioner and the Luxurious Volume in-shower treatment* to help my hair out.

I’ve also been experimenting a bit more with different looks, rather than just shoving it in a ponytail, so here are my top easy hairstyles 🙂

How To Dutch Braid Your Hair

Illamasqua Lip Lure Review

If you’re not aware, I used to be a bit of a goth back in the day. I’m talking full-length leather trench coat (which I still own), baggy jeans, corsets, band tees, velvet clothing, studded chokers and quite often white foundation and black lipstick. I loved the gothic fashion, the tattoos and piercings (and to be honest, I still do, I’m just not quite as full-on as I used to be); it was beautiful to me and I finally felt like I fitted in somewhere. I was free to love metal music and watch Buffy to my heart’s content and I found an amazing group of friends who were just like me and didn’t judge me on what I looked like.
