No-Follow Links Explained

Even though there are quite a few posts out there regarding no-follow links, I still see loads of people posting on blogging forums asking what they are, how to use them, why you should use them and what happens if you don’t.

So I’m going to explain it in my own Holly style of writing and hope to hell I make some sort of sense! You might want to go and make a cuppa before I start…

Trying Out Blog Event Products | Part One*

Since I started going to blog meets and events at the beginning of this year, I’ve accumulated about 6 drawers full of goodies! I always mean to get around to trying everything, but life and being forgetful lazy gets in the way. So I thought if I made blog posts out of it, I’d probably actually make an effort to try out some of the bits and let you know what they’re like!

My Blog Goals 2016

I can’t believe it’s been well over a year since I started blogging, it seems like only yesterday I was writing my first blog post. You can read it here if you really feel the need to 😛 When I started I didn’t really have any idea what I was going to write about, how my blog would evolve or that I’d keep writing posts so regularly.

Big Blogger Expo 2016

Two weeks ago I met up with the brilliant Aine (Honestly Aine) in London and we made our way to the Danubis Hotel in Regent’s Park for the Big Blogger Expo 2016. (Although we obviously stopped at 221B Baker Street too, because it would be rude not to!)

The Big Blogger Expo was set up by Lauren from Blonde Vision (who also runs Ldnmeetup) and it’s a great way to network with brands and bloggers.

Working With Brands And PR Companies

I’ve been lucky enough to work on a few different collaboration projects now but I was terrified at the beginning that I’d do something wrong or there’d be some miscommunication somewhere. I’ve chatted to quite a few of you who want to work with brands but don’t really know where to start, so thought I’d write a quick guide. This is by no means the right or only way, but this is what I do. (This is just a guide for blog posts in exchange for product reviews as opposed to a sponsored post.)
