A couple of months ago I went to my first Brighton blog meet and in my goody bag were two samples of Mintycoco; the coconut oil-pulling formula with peppermint which is for “leaving your mouth feeling fresh, your teeth looking whiter and your gums healthy.” I decided to give it a go….
If you saw my Twitter feed a couple of weeks ago, you’ll know I was doing a nail wrap give-away courtesy of Dinkibelle* and they very kindly sent me a set of the Peacock nail wraps to try out for myself.
I recently won Rachel’s competition on Twitter to win a Mac lipstick and spent the next couple of hours in a total panic because I didn’t know which one to get!
As you know, I recently went into town and picked up some bits and bobs. Unfortunately two items quickly got the can. I hate not giving things a proper try, but for me these products really didn’t work at all from the outset.
Now I’m in my thirties (damn, really!) I feel I really need to step up my night-time routine, and when I say step it up, I mean actually have one. I seem to be blessed with a young-looking face but one day, it’s all gunna go and I’m going to be left wishing I’d tried to do something about it while I still could.
I finally caved in and bought the Kate Moss 107 lipstick by Rimmel. I’ve been lusting after it for ages, seeing it on other blogs, wanting it and forgetting to buy it or it being out of stock. When I went into Boots on Wednesday, they had two in stock! Luckily, I bought it before my makeup ban came into effect 😀
It’s always lovely to get post, even more so when it’s make-up and especially when you don’t remember requesting a sample! So imagine my surprise when I got a package through the door containing the new mascara from Chanel!
I was recently approached by Born Pretty Store* to see if I wanted to review some of their products. I was a little apprehensive, only because my blog is still so new and I thought there’d been a mistake! It turned out that they really did want me to try out their products and so promptly sent me my first item. I was happy to find that despite coming from Singapore, delivery only took around 10 days. I thought it would take a lot longer!
