I have incredibly sensitive skin (and rosacea) so I’m always on the look out for products that won’t irritate my face, but will still cleanse and moisturise well without causing my skin to go red and blotchy.
Love Them Or Loathe Them | Part One
I’ve tried to cut down my make-up stash recently so I’ve gone through my products and tried them out to see if I still love them as much as I did when I bought them. As it turns out there are a few products that I’m no longer fond of and a few forgotten products that I’m re-loving, so I thought I’d share 4 of each, can you guess which ones are in which category??
My HD Brow Journey | Part One
It’s no secret that my eyebrows are a bit shit. I thought it was because I over-plucked them when thin brows were all the rage in the 1990s. It turns out it’s actually mostly genetics as all the women on my mum’s side of the family have barely-there brows!
Crownbrush Cosmetics Review*
I’ve known about Crownbrush for a couple of years now, having followed them on Twitter for ages and even been to an event they were also at but, if I’m being completely honest, I thought they only sold make-up brushes and eyeshadow palettes. Turns out I was wrong; very, very wrong!!
Kathleen Sensual Rose Review*
You know when a super exciting email drops into your inbox and you do a little dance of joy? That’s how I felt when I found out that Kathleen Natural was releasing a brand new range of products; the Luxurious Body Care Range!! There are three different moods to choose from; Citrus Cheer, Tranquil Fields and Sensual Rose.
ALGENIST Splash Hydrating Setting Mist Review*
If you’ve seen me moaning on Insta stories about my face recently, you might know that I’ve had a weird problem with my right cheek for a while. I just couldn’t get my foundation to sit nicely on it, but now that I’m using a new skin care routine, it’s got a lot better. This means I’ve been able to wear full on make-up again 😀😀 which makes me very happy because, sometimes, it’s just nice to stick on some make-up and feel your absolute best, even if you’re super tired or so over Monday already and it’s not even 9 am yet!!
Awapuhi Wild Ginger Mirrorsmooth Collection*
At the end of last year, I wrote a post about attending the Jingle and Mingle event, hosted by the lovely Mickaela and Amy from Salon Success. Since January, I’ve been using the Awapuhi Wild Ginger Mirrorsmooth products by Paul Mitchell that I was kindly gifted.
Benefit BADgal Bang Mascara First Impressions*
After seeing all the hype and drama about it online, (first the photo that Benefit put on their UK Insta page made the mascara look clumpy AF and secondly there was a bit of blogger shade about *that* Maldives press trip) I really wanted to try the mascara and see what it could do to my lashes!
The Higher Nature Evening*
A couple of weeks ago, I was invited along to check out a brand that was completely new to my radar; Higher Nature. The event was held at BozBoz Gallery in Brighton (near St Peter’s Church) which was the perfect setting to show off their products.
Lush Festive Blogger Night | Crawley*
Ever since I was invited to the Lush event last year, it’s safe to say my opinion about Lush has definitely changed! I used to find there was too much choice, but now I know what I like and don’t like, I’m happy to spend a good half hour browsing for new products!
I was thrilled to get an invite to this year’s Lush event in Crawley; not only to get to see the new products coming out, but also to spend some time with some of my blogging faves; Katie, Charlie, Tania and Rosie 🙂
