Bluebelle & Co Event | Brighton*

I recently attended a blogger event at Bluebelle & Co in Brighton and was invited by the lovely Katie. I’m so glad I was, because I’ve now found the perfect place to go if I need some gift inspiration, a present for a new baby or even some gorgeous blog props.

If I’m being completely honest, I’d always walked past the shop and not bothered going in because, on first glance, it does look like a baby shop. I can assure you though that it’s so much more than that.

Chatting to Lauren, the manager, I learnt that the owner, Kate, designs most of the items for sale herself under her company called House of Disaster. She also designs all the children’s wear under the company Powell Craft ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, whenever anyone goes on holiday, they always source some unique bits to bring back to sell as well.

The shop is absolutely huge and they change the displays around frequently. Everything is split up into sections so it’s always easy to find ๐Ÿ™‚

There’s a gorgeous section full of all the cactus and succulent things you could ever want; including a gorgeous cactus purse, a cactus trinket pot and cute little succulent trinket dish ๐Ÿ™‚

They have a new section called Hi-Kawaii which is full of the cutest gifts and accessories imaginable. Who wouldn’t want a smiley face pineapple luggage tag, a little whale purse or a kitty night light? Lauren very kindly said I could choose something to take home with me so I had to pick the adorable kitty night light because it was the cutest thing ever!!

There’s even a dinosaur section and would make the perfect accessory for anyone’s bedroom. Aren’t these origami night lights just the coolest thing ever? They also sell mini dinosaur eggcups (which apparently make fab succulent planters) and check out the dinosaur clutch ๐Ÿ˜€

On an old wooden cart there’s a collection of beautiful bags, purses and wallets from the 1916 collection. It’s named after the year that artist Vanessa Bell moved to Lewes. She was part of the famous Bloomsbury set, along with her sister, Virginia Woolf.

Bluebelle & Co have such a wide range of gifts, including; travel wallets, pocket mirrors, men’s wash bags, tea pots, tea cups and lots of travel-inspired goodies.

They also have the sweetest baby and children’s clothes, blankets and bibs. I loved the cute little jackets ๐Ÿ™‚

You can find Bluebelle & Co at 80 Trafalgar Street, Brighton. There really is something for everyone!

Oh and if you’re not local, they also have a website, a Twitter account and an Instagram page. I’d definitely recommend checking them out; they have so many beautiful thingsย โ™ฅ

I want to say a massive thank you to Katie for organising the event and to Lauren who was absolutely lovely!! I really enjoyed my evening at Bluebelle & Co and I’ll definitely be back again ๐Ÿ™‚
