A Day Out In Arundel

A few months ago, Rosie, Katie and myself were discussing ideas on where to go after we’d had our fun day out at Wood’s in Worthing.  We knew that we definitely wanted something food related and somewhere pretty for loads of cute outfit shots!!

Katie suggested The Ice Cream Parlour in Arundel and I headed to their Instagram page to check them out!!  The photos were absolutely stunning and we were all sold on the idea!!

We ended up going a couple of weekends ago and we definitely picked the best day for it as it was such a lovely sunny day!!

Rosie kindly picked me up from Worthing station and we headed over to Arundel where it was incredibly busy.  I think we must have gone round the car park at least 10 times before we finally got a space; even the car park warden cheered for us when we got one 😂😂

We wandered through the streets, got completely lost and finally made it to the Ice Cream Parlour where we met Katie 🙂

I was so excited and couldn’t choose what to pick but the staff were absolutely fantastic, giving us helpful tips and advice 🙂

I ended up going for the Festival Fairy sundae; one of their newest dishes.  It’s a massive plate of cream with sprinkles, candy floss and mascarpone and red velvet cake ice cream!!  Oh and I got it on top of a waffle because I also wanted something solid.  It looked incredible and tasted just as good!!  The ice cream was amazing and the waffle was cooked to perfection!!  I loved all the attention to detail, like the tiny pin wheel 💚💚

Rosie opted for the Mars sundae on a waffle; a hot Belgium waffle covered in chocolate and toffee sauce with a mix of death by chocolate & toffee fudge ice cream, a shell of Belgium chocolate over the ice cream and more toffee sauce.  Then there’s a generous layer of cream with a whole Mars Bar (cut into pieces) shoved in there for good measure; oh and more Belgium chocolate and toffee sauce over the top.  To finish, a combination of gold sugar dusting, gold sprinkles, very special gold chocolate pebbles and balls are placed over the top.

Katie went for the Oreo freakshake; a cookie dough shake with Oreo crumble, mixed with a dash of milk.  It’s then poured into a chocolate dipped cup covered in sprinkles and more Oreos.  Then it’s topped with a mountain of cream, chocolate sauce, more sprinkles and Oreo crumble.  Then more Oreos, wafers and decorations are added, finished off with a massive oversized straw as no normal straw could handle this creation!!

The food and service were absolutely brilliant and I’d 100/100 recommend The Ice Cream Parlour if you’re looking for a delicious food coma ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

After lunch we wandered around Arundel and took some photos of the gorgeous quaint houses and shops.  Oh and we also took plenty of fashion pics too.

I absolutely love these pics that Rosie and Katie took, it was really fun too as we had two people taking photos of each person so we all had plenty to choose from 🙂

I had such a lovely day out in Arundel, it’s so picturesque, and even though it was busy, it was still pretty quiet.  I can’t wait until we organise our next day out!!
