A Chatty Catch-Up | May 2019

I cannot believe we’re about to enter June!! The days and months seem to be going super fast now. I’m definitely looking forward to summer, but I’d very much like it to slow down now please!!

To be fair though, the last couple of weeks of May were super slow as I was off work with a chest infection πŸ™ that also meant I couldn’t work out much though, which sucked πŸ™

Here’s what I got up to πŸ™‚

Food:

If you’ve seen my meals in minutes post, you’ll know that at the beginning of May, I went to learn how to make bhelpuri with Mob Kitchen and Samsung. It was such a fun experience and the dish was absolutely delicious!! I definitely want to make it again as it’s a perfect lunchtime meal πŸ™‚

I also went to Portsmouth to hang out with Alice and we went to The Cosy Club for a three course lunch; I can’t decide if I loved the salad starter or the burger more!!

Purchases:

It’s been a good old month for purchases! Around the middle of May, I took the plunge and bought a month’s gym membership to PureGym in Brighton. They were offering half price membership and no joining fee (Β£12.50). Unfortunately I used the gym twice before succumbing to a chest infection!! I’ve still got a couple of weeks left though so I’ll have to see whether I take advantage of it or need to cancel.

I treated myself to a few new Tangled pins!! The tower and the crown pins are from Black Wanda shop (in France) and the lantern pin is from Blue Lemon Inc (who used to be Heart of Tefitico)

I treated myself to a new jumper in the Joanie Clothing sale. It’s the grey version of the pink Brunch Club tee that I own already πŸ™‚ I’m now hoping for some cold days so I can actually wear it!!

One of my best purchases this month though has to be my DKNY perfume!! Alice and I wandered round Gunwharf Quays before our lunch and we popped into The Cosmetics Company quickly. While I was in there, I saw a massive bottle of Be Delicious and it said it was only Β£30 😲😲😲 J bought me a 30 ml one for my 30th for about that price!! I wasn’t sure if I was reading it wrong so took it to the till to check and yep, the 150 ml bottle was indeed Β£30. Obviously I had to have it, look at fricking size difference!! 🍏🍏🍏

Lastly, I popped into Superdrug recently and saw they were selling all Lottie London cosmetics for Β£2 each!! I ended up buying the wing stamp eyeliner, some hair bands and these two lipsticks, all for Β£8!! The green lipstick is called Queen and the pink one is OMG.

The best of the rest:

I entered a giveaway on Instagram to win a hamper from Charlie’s Sweet Emporium in Brighton!! I only bloody went and won didn’t I? Check out the goodies that arrived in the post πŸ™‚
